Your animations always have consistency in quality! This is so refreshing to see, most all tomorrows animations now a days are a few second long with not much of a story (which isn’t bad!!!) but something with great animation, a story, and creativity is what I LOVE to see in this fandom :) this is gr8 is what I’m tryna say 😂
My theory is that the ruin haunters experimented on the blind folk and turned that particular one into a the monster it is, making it change to have massive fangs and sharp bone cutting talons. Either way this vid was very fun, and the color pallet is very nice to look at too.
When I realised the observers were pre-Gravital Ruin Haunters…!! Love what you’ve done here, you’ve taken this universe beyond the memes and are actually adding something quite fascinating to it. The event is just about plausible too, as the Ruin Haunters are shown wearing simple clothing and carrying obviously artificial tools within a single millennium of the Qu departure suggesting at the very least a Palaeolithic society, it ‘only’ took original humans in the region of 100’000 years to go from the Palaeolithic to walking on the moon, and that was without the Qu’s ruins spurning them on. Another few thousand years and they would be spacefaring to at least the level of the Star people who had populated the local spiral arm. For their part, the Blind Folk could have endured for a million years or more before continental drift smothered them, as it’s not known to be a rapid process.
I really like how you didn’t go with the minecraft villager meme and just over exaggerate the nose like everyone else. It feels much more in line with what vibes I got from the ruin haunters too.
I got the impression that is a million years later. The impractically big nose got smaller near their original star people form. The blind folk were sill around.
I really like how you portrayed the Ruin Haunters as a very technologically advanced species. Other animations typically show them going from cavemen and abruptly to the Gravitals. But they most definitely learned how to use the Star People's technology and invented the mind uploading technology to become the Gravitals.
I like how the lead scientist already started walking out of the room when he says "excuse me", as if he knew it would head there and knew he just had to remain calm and be the first one out of the room while his assistant stayed just long enough for the blind folk to make it in there and tear his assistant apart while he walks away to safety.
