Bro great video. Had the clutch start to stick on me yesterday. Was worried it was something super bad going on. Then today got stuck in gear in rush hour luckily i was able to turn off and use back roads. But you have legit the same issue I'm having. Saving me a trip to the mechanic for diagnosis and repair. I'll let you know how it goes if i remember!
Hey man. Thanks for the shortcuts. I have a Tremec 3160 on my V6 2020. I put a new clutch in it when I bought it *I knew it was bad....kids dad sold it to me for $20k with 3.5k. So I replaced everything. Put on a Edelbrock supercharger, tuned it, and 2500 miles later I have a "clutch overuse warning". Thats the same warning I got when I bought it. It cant be the Supercharger....its not rubbing and the belt is still brand new. I dont get it. I have had some fun with the car but not abuse. I'm not trying to pull the tranny again in this heat. I cleared a familiar emissions code from running it in stealth mode...just had to open the Dual mode exhaust up and blow the condensation out. I cleared tbe code and it didnt come back after 30 miles with all 4 pipes open. That happened about 2 minutes after the clutch warning light. I have a daily driver. I only drive the Camaro once every 7-10 days. It only has 8000 miles on it. ARGGHHH. Its a pain in the ass. BTW, Ford uses this same unit in the GT350. The only thing I can think of is the trac constantly nagging and I should shut it off to allow the wheelspin instead of binding it up at the clutch. Just TRY to drive fast in S/I mode. It's doing the same thing in Sport setting too, just not noticable in Sport or Touring. I just cant understand how the friction disc would burn up in 2500 ish miles.
So, I have 2015 v6 Camaro. Had this problem. Bleeding was unsuccessful so I changed the master. WORKED PERFECT, for about 2 weeks then had same problem. A mechanic changed the slave, and clutch. Still…same problem….please help !! Any suggestions ? I still share same reservoir but I’m confident that isn’t my current issue. No signs of leaks anywhere….im lost
Chad great video and info. I am trying to figure out if I can put a slipper clutch in the clutch fluid line, dam it’s plastic. Will have to ask Magnus if I can some how put it on a plastic line instead of a metal line.
just replaced the clutch and slave cylinder now mines doing this. anyway you could link to the clutch master cylinder? just wanna make sure im getting the right part

Thx for sharing this
Any idea what that hockey puck sized piece on the clutch line to the trans is for?
I have a 5th gen that i need to change the master cylinder and pedal position sensor. Looks like the 6th gen are easier to work on

Long shot, but is there anyway you can give me an idea of where you cit your holes in the floorboard?
might wanna plasti-dip or bedliner around where you cut the floor out just to prevent rust yeah?
I painted it where I cut the floor.
@@outlawcamaro4044 ok good deal thats what i was meanin just to prevent rust
You said you made a hole to access your bleeder, can you give a general location
Did your pedal squeak when pressing it down to shift?
Hey is it possible to put one of the v8 cmc's and slave cylinder into a v6? Like will it fit
How did u bleed it
i did same thing in my 5th gen in the back seat so i can get to the fuel pump without droppin' everything
My ZL1 tells me I’m not pressing the clutch/brake and won’t start because of it. Anyone on here have that problem? Clutch sensor possibly?
Almost positive it’s the position sensor
What clutch did you end up putting in there ?
It's stock clutch, changed the clutch master cylinder. Oem
@@outlawcamaro4044
Crazy my stock clutch slips at 35k
I don't beat on it
550 whp 540 wtq
Prob around same as you if you're on E85
Yes il on e85 and a 200 shot of nitrous and no clutch slippage
@@outlawcamaro4044
That's insane
Nice work man
Definitely impressed with your build
Wish I lived closer (Atlanta)
@@Highlander1432 my 5th gen camaro I put a McCloud rxt1200 if you are interest I have a brand new one I never used
Shit.
Thought this issue died with the LS1 Fbody and C5...
Nope. Im probably gonna do a remote reservoir for the brake fluid
@outlawcamaro4044
After 7 years replacing my clutch with an LT4 clutch
Installing a remote bleeder!
