Time and again we have refused to understand that the United States became a prosperous nation because citizens pooled their small money together. Being black born in America, I was not allowed to participate, to take a portion of my working salary and invest it for my future in brick and mortar investment. Now we have somewhere to pool our money to create a win-win environment. Listen to the truth that non-black people are going to Africa as told by the Africans who are seeing it. And listen to me when I say I saw it for myself when I spent almost a year in Tanzania. Just returned to America a few months ago. I'm going to invest in Africa. I will no longer be brainwashed. Join ADDI and learn where you can add to the pool of investment like that which made America a prosperous nation.

Creating is the essence of life, africa must be part of the 4th industrial revolution. Save africa by stop cutting trees to build wooden boats, we need to give every african a gas stove, we have a lot of gas, we can create thousands of job building fishing trawlers and commercial vessel. The only continent that uses its river to dump garbage is africa, other countries use their rivers to move goods and people, rivers needs to be dredge

WAKANDA ONE. CITY OF RETURN. My heart melts as I listen to the Chief’s attempt to bring to reality the dream of Dr. Arikana to bring back diadpora African. And this time, it seems that the diaspora are responding again. This return efforts was what give birth to Liberia……when the first attempt was made after the emancipation proclamation was made. In 1820 a ship of 86 freed slaves returned to the motherland to West Africa…..what is now Liberia. More freed Africans followed and in 1847, Liberia proclaimed to the rest of the world as an independent country on the continent.
At that time, the Berlin Conference was slicing up the continent like pizza….amongst the European colonial masters…..frustrating the return efforts…..making it impossible for the diaspora to assimilate into the kingdoms they left behind…..thereby confining them to few regions….especially Liberia.
Today, the efforts have been rekindled by Her Excellence Dr. Arikana Chiombori-Quoa. This time, the whole continent is opened from North to South, East to West and all the surrounding Islands. MAY THE PIONEERS( as we called them in Liberian history books) OR DIASPORA RETURN.

Thank you my King for the info and the ambition behind the Wakanda project. I don't mind the Chinese and the Europeans taking up development projects in the continent but my only disappointment is the fact that the terms I most contracts signed are never in the interest of Africans. In a way we viewed as cheap and desperate to the point of almost giving away the resources on the continent for free. In my opinion, all existing and future infrastructure projects should be renegotiated

Basically Wakanda has the origin in the Buganda kingdom that of the Wakanda people (African people) that takes care of all people of African decent. In Kiswahili Wakanda means the people of a region. Kanda is region. "Tuko pamoja milele daima dawamu."

@Wings of Tranquility vvvVvvv I don't know how old you are but the truth is that African or black people history has been opposed by the KkK leaning Mzungus from being taught in American high schools. So how do you expect majority of the black people to know such like stuff if the European American education system goes full throttle to hide the identity and culture of people of African decent. Take for example the "KWANZAA cultural celebrations" though it was put forth by Prof. Karenga, but it's basically a BANTU and by extension Afrikan Thanksgiving celebration that has been practiced ever since the Great BANTU migrations took place from West Africa in the present day Eastern Nigeria and Cameroon to central, Eastern and southern Africa. The were two arms of migration, the eastern and western arms all of which had an impact on the other groups of Afrikans, Kushites(Habeshi&kush) and Nilotes(Egyptians and Nubians) of the Nile basin and Ethiopian highlands. Later the Western arm of Bantu had alot of impact on the Khoisan African people of the Kalahari desert. In short let the America people acced to the teaching of African American history in American schools.

Peace @@afrakanaswahilitv5520 You're not serious Black? Who told you that and please give me that reference? In none of the article about the making of the movie and or the discussions of the movie Wakanda that they reference anything about the word being a Swahili word. When I spoke to many of my people in Tanzania about the movie, none of them mention that Wakanda was a Swahili word. Dr. Arakana even gave a reference to the movie for the reason why the term for the CITY OF RETURN was named Wakanda. And being an Afrikan word or term never came up. I love the name CITY OF RETURN, it can be translated into Swahili to make an official Afrikan term or naming. We have too many Mzungu names forced on us we have get rid of.
