Hi Stacey. Thanks for the shout out. Yes we freeze lots of our herbs and veggies. Great for winter when they have gone dormant or died. Beautiful garden and harvest. ❤❤
Some hens hides their eggs in places you'd never even think they can get into - its a natural instinct for some, so do have a look in all places you might get a surprise☺
That basil is robust, prolific, and aromatic. I dry all my herbs; basil, thyme, rosemary, sage, Marjoram and oregano. You can freeze some of your peppers too. Do you use liquid fertilizer? What kind?
@@GardeningWithCoffee wash them and place them on wire wicker trays. I kept the wire shelves from my old electric stove. So use something like that. Let the water drain and place the trays outdoors for a couple hours. Not long. Once they quail put the trays in your garage. If you can get one of those greenhouses with the plastic covering from Aldi or Lidl or wherever. Remove the plastic and use the unit with the shelves to air dry your herbs. I actually use it to store my potatoes in a corner of my laundry room and covered with dark sheets to keep out light because I don't have a basement. I also don't turn lights on in there. When they are dry cut them up and store in jars. You can also grind some for powder and also course chop some for Italian seasoning
