I finally got the keys to my new apparent I Copenhagen and I’m officially starting this new chapter. Maybe it’s not what you’d expect from living here but it’s the reality. I’m looking forward to taking you along the process of getting settled, creating a home for myself. As if this day couldn’t be any better we hit 30k the same evening. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again: Thank you. I’m speechless and it’s surreal to me that this is the community we are creating

Very tiny, but cute apartment with very good lighting - and yeah, this is the reality (I live near Zürich in a "big town", but IN Zürich are the prices horrible - no way I could pay that.) Enjoy your new home, and congrats on 30K :)

Hey Katharina, I've found you on my fyp a view weeks ago and I've been binge watching since. You even inspired me to start running... even though I loose my breath pretty fast. Best of luck to you in your new home and may you experience alot of good memories. If I may ask for reference... your apartment is a student apartment right? We pay around 700 Euros here in Wiesbaden, Germany. Do you pay more or less (ofc only if you're want to answer)? PS. You blurred out the windows in the second Part of your "room tour" but left it in the first part, where you stand by the window with your BF. :)
Hey, thanks for sharing this with me! It made me smile. The apartment is unfortunately not for student but 'youth' only, meaning you'll need to be younger than 35 in order to allow to live here. I pay a lot more than 700 euros (ouch!) and I'll talk more about that in the next video. Tnx for letting me know - I'm aware, I just didn't want to share the 'full' direct view :)
Hey Katharina, you are winning at life for sure! 👍 - everything is so white in there, almost Bruce Almighty meets God - yet you are the same part of the world as the Skagen painters! 😀 At least it is definitely clean and it'll be decked out with Japanese theme and many other things in no time for sure - (we have a drawing from James Clavell's Shōgun on a wall - drawn by my brother in 1982!). // Here's an idea, since your man is not camera shy, perhaps one day he might like to surprise you in some pleasant way - you could give him the camera and share the experience from his perspective? 🤔 there must be loads of fun things to do in Copenhagen! - University is going to be a 'mostly' great experience for sure, when do you start?

Is looks quite small but if you live alone it's alright. It looks like typical student housing in Denmark so I think you will have to move out when you finish your studies right?
It’s small because the rent is super high in central Copenhagen. Maybe I’ll move, maybe I won’t. It’s a question about finances and priorities ( 🇯🇵 considered too!)
@@katharinaschneiderr what I meant is is in Denmark ( or at least in Aalborg where I live) there are apartments dedicated for only students. The rent is very cheap and the apartments are usually small like this ( without oven/dishwasher) but you have to move out when you are no longer a student I do know Copenhagen rent is much more expensive than Aalborg though

But I did not rent one of those because I don't want to be relying on my studies in order to live somewhere + it's almost impossible to get one. The waiting list very long, sometimes even 3-4+ years. So I did research on my own! :)

The rent in Copenhagen is extremely high so this is the only place I could afford - but I am so happy with it! Thank you :)
