How the hell is it possible for the strikers to get Unemployment? They are the ones that walked off the job. What a waste of tax payers money.

They should not be eligible for unemployment benefits. They voluntarily walked out on their jobs.

It’s not that simple, most these guys already working 2-3 jobs, And worked hotel long time, and to be caught off guard by the negotiations, Saving money aint gon help you, when even with 3 jobs, when that hotel could be the one getting you by in Hawai’i, also Tryna find a job replacement while already juggling other jobs is ridiculous,

@@RenzaissanceTV You actually understand whats going on besides all of these other viewers...crazy how they don't really research and understand what the strike is about. The first thing they look at is "they want another higher wage"... Then the next thing they do is blame the workers who think they are just being greedy. Crazy...Most of these viewers commenting against the strikers are most likely middle class/or below as well, some probably rich...or even botted accts to spread hate.

Sorry but you worker’s are not skilled workers like engineers or brain surgeons therefore you really are not marketable your job can be done by any high school student ,I am not trying to be mean but it is what it is yes you workers deserve some sort of a raise but don’t expect the world besides a lot of your workers come from a different country and send most of your wages back home but that is your choice and not the employers fault,if you really want good paying jobs you need to be skilled and educated I know you will say that how can I do that well you have 24 hours in a day and maybe you can work during the day and attend college at night or vice versa I did that many years ago and have a decent paying job ,no I am not wealthy but I live comfortably, you should know by now only you can make those sacrifices and change ,I would never let the government control my destiny,Good luck to all of you

Sadly, none of us knows what raise or wage these striking workers are asking for. How do we know whether we should support these workers? We don’t even know if they’re being reasonable about what they’re asking for. To complain that Hilton is just making more money isn’t a valid argument. Hotels are in it to make tremendous amounts of money, that’s not a secret. And we do know that these workers are unskilled laborers and are hired for their expediency not their professional contribution to the hotel.

I hope they all get replaced. Staying here and it is atrocious what they are doing and harassing ppl staying at the hotel. Nurses, teachers, etc all strike in a dignified manner and don’t destroy the peace of people in the area or harass people who can’t change their reservation or get a refund. Shame on Hilton as well for not notifying customers or allowing them to get a refund or change dates.

They should go back to work, I remember not two long ago they were striking and saying 1 job should be enough and then they got their raise and now they are striking again and want more money. If they get too greedy they will be replaced with workers that are satisfied with the pay and those on strike will be the losers.
