- Come Fly With the McGruders @ The Forum in Jonesboro, AR 1990. I was there for this and a couple other concerts they held at the Forum. I created this video as I could not find a video of Sis McGruder singing this song posted anywhere. While searching I found myself in their video's and have added them to this video. They influence so many lives including my own. So thankful for their ministry and a legacy they have left behind. Just want to say thanks. :) to them both.

I have known the McGruders and you just couldn't get and be more real,humble and Apostolic than that. I considered them personal friends and God sent lovers 💏 of the name of JESUS! I can still thank my Good Lord for having the privilege in HIS Mercy to have known such people and the Impact it had in my life(The difference between life or death, literally)I am still here because he prophesied over me in 1990! I remembered that last night, WOW, GOD IS GOOD!

This song encouraged me through a problem that appeared beyound solution.I would sing it with tears in my eyes sometimes and sang it with my grand kids.two years on, but God intervened and my tears are gone.Glory to God.
I truly understand that is the way I felt back when this video was made. It was the first time she sung it and I felt it was just for me. When there’s no place to go and you think no one knows what you’re going through. Your exhausted my friend and there nothing left you can do. Oh how I have spiritually grown in the past 32 years. No matter what we face we can go to the Master in prayer as he always waiting and listening. Oh I cannot wait

As a boy, back in the Caribbean - St. Vincent to be exact - I was thrilled by this song! no doubt,The McGruders are inspired by God through Jesus Christ. Thanks be to God in Jesus Christ's matchless, almighty name, for the McGruders! I have been touched through the years by this blessed song. Also, there is another guy - two of my friends' dad - Mr. Herman by name. He was not a believer then but many a times, he would make reference to this song as touching him, even when we were not thinking about it. He has passed - I was not there - but a strong conviction has gripped my spirit assuring me that he found faith in Christ before he passed. And I know that this song played a vital part in his spirit, at some point in his life. May he continue to rest in peace and may this song continue to be a light, leading many out of the dark. Thank you, Sylvia Clemons and all else involved...

I too searched for this song and couldn't find it. Thankfully I still had their CD and had to do a little digging around for it and was so thankful I found it. I was at their Jonesboro Concert the first time it was sung. This is by far one of my favorites if I was forced to choose one.
I remember this like it was yesterday..I went to their church a many times... Wonderful People.

No these were one god apostolics that lived and sang for the one true god they loved dearly. They prayed for one hour before every concert asking the Lord to bring people to the cross.

This couple is the McGruders. They were from Kennett Missouri where he pastored for many years.

Such special people. Anointed by God and very humble. The realness of their testimony helped me so very much🥰💕. I read her book as well. They don’t make them like these fine people no more. May they both rest in the arms of Jesus ❤ ❤
There are still some good anointed people who were very much involved with these two great example. Kevin Wright who is a singer songwriter that helped write some of the McGruder songs has started his group back up. God has given him a second chance in life and he is using for God’s Glory.
