    Amazing!! Of course, compared to human work, there is still a lot to evolve (a very painful and harmful work), it is clear that before sowing, intense soil preparation is necessary, but based on the premise that the equipment knows exactly where the plant is, other functions are being incorporated. The addition of sensors that identify a plant (it does not need to detect if it is a weed, as it is already known where the plant is) the tool can penetrate only at the right moment and greatly avoid dragging the soil. As the system has each plant individually identified and the idea is to keep it in the field night and day, I believe that the farmer can have all agricultural services in just one piece of equipment. The project can evolve to sensors that identify brands or even specific pests, applying defensive only to the infected plant. Congratulations on the project, I hope the cost can come down substantially, I imagine governments of poor countries using it to feed the people. Wow, then I realized I'm on my daughter's account...

    for not rectangle shape soils like triangle shape does the farmdroid can handle ?

    • @FarmDroid
      @FarmDroid  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      A triangle would be no problem. You just have to be able to map out the field with "cornerpoints" so the robot knows the edges of the field 🤖

    Why does it look like the robot isn't driving in a straight line? And does the seeding work in clay soil? because i think the discs can't produce enough pressure to cut in the clay soil.

    • @FarmDroid
      @FarmDroid  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Ramon. Where in the video does it look like it's not driving straight? Of course clay soil is a challenge for every type of equipment, however we have customers who use the FarmDroid FD20 in clay soil with good results 💚👍

    • @ramonvermueful
      @ramonvermueful 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FarmDroid Okay I understand, indeed it's very important to prepare the clay soil at the right moment. In videoshot 4.30 and 5.10 it looks like the rows aren't straight.

    how can we trust leaving it alone in the field without someone stealing it?

    • @FarmDroid
      @FarmDroid  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Simone. We have yet to experience a robot being stolen. However the robot is connected with GPS and can be monitored by app, so it will be relatively easy to see where it is located or if it has been moved out of location. Also if it is seeding or weeding, the owner will be notified whenever the robot stops 💚

    It is very interesting but, at the same time the speed is very slow!!!...., I hope they improve this aspect....

    • @FarmDroid
      @FarmDroid  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mauricio, it usually isn't a problem with the speed as it can operate all day and most of the night. The low speed is also how it keeps being very precise and reliable.

    Eliminating human workers.

      Human farmers are being eliminated for the past 2 decades now, there are hundreds of automated farms, with all the systems integrated, it's faster, easer and cheaper, even in transportation, every time more vehicles are able to drive themselves, take a look to China. I think that if you cannot get a job into this ocuppations, simply, get a job designing these marvelous devices...

      The workers have already been eliminated and replaced with chemicals decades ago. Customers and producers of ecologic food will gain a lot from eleminating unnecessary workers too.
