I like the intro 👍 That felling shovel is a very useful tool, especially with the Cant hook in the addition. The downside of the Cant hook is that the opposite side of the hook is flat, and can easily slip off the log as it did in your case (it would be much better if it had some sort of tiny spikes or sonething to prevent slipping). I use Cant hook a lot and did my share of falling to the ground just like You did 😉 Stay safe my friend !
@@DeadWoodLogging6996 it works great on trees whit soft wood but on birdcherrys I somtimes go whit some brute force because the Cant hook won't go in to the wood.
@DeadWoodLogging6996 the problen is the the wood of birdcherrys is wery interesting that it won't hold it it will just pop out, but that trick works great on every other hardwood.
@@davidhakes3884 you stupid amricans can't eavan grow quality timber and cut normal stumps whitout wasting lumber. And the reson I chose my chanals name northen europe logging is because a lot more people know what logging means than forestry which is what I'm doing.
@@getl0st well try doing some spruce newgrowth thining yourself mister. I know that this might sounded a bit rude but the felling window is really small, because you can't damage the spruce trees.
