Camel at its best. Perfect formation as a quartet 1) Bardens displays his creativity as a singer and original melody on the keyboard 2) Ferguson magnificent on bass. Although he had a relatively low profile in the group 3) Ward, one of the great drummers, perfected his rhythm using 4) Latimer. Everything is already said.
Wonderful recording and sound of the video, rare for the time.

Even though they are miming, it is nice to see some footage of Camel on TH-cam. Thanks for the upload!!

Incredible that this recording still exists, a treasure found, a masterpiece this song. Does the rest of this presentation exist? Was this recording part of the BBC session that aired on March 15, 1973, on John Peel's "Top Gear"?

This is clearly the studio track, with them miming. Still, great to see them at that point in history. Thanks for posting!

Yes it is. I'm sorry for the misleading title. I originally posted this video thinking that they were in fact performing it live and I just recently realized that was not the case.

The way you are progressing (no pun intended), you will end up uploading songs by a band another mate of mine is in.....Mark Abrahams. He's currently in the classic band Wishbone Ash as the main guitarist and has been for about four years now, after he closed his guitar music store in Castleford, Vision Guitars. I bought my last guitar from him in late 2015 just before he closed, and started on his lifelong dream to play for his childhood heroes.
I worked with him in Leeds at another store in the late 1990s, and you sometimes have to be prepared for the unexpected, e.g. its amazing sometimes who would walk in or ring up. I've dealt with famous musicians or their producers / engineers, like Dave Lee Roth, George Michael's producer in the 2000s, Gary Numan and they usually just needed high spec microphones, monitors or software etc for studio work, or live productions. Always tried hard to not sound star struck lol, as that can be really lame for them.

That's very awesome! I haven't been following Wishbone Ash in their later days, but Mark Abraham sounds very familiar! Thanks for the story 😄 I'll definitely listen to him!

Got to see Wishbone Ash last year in Cincy, and going again next spring- Wishbone Ash is one of the best shows from this era still going strong!
