Ok, my life changing tree hack: Put furniture sliders under the feet of the tree. Then you can have the tree away from the wall while you decorate, and use a reacher/grabber tool to easily reach in and push the tree into place!

I am black and white tv years old! LOL! No 8 tracks when I was growing up. We had records and reel to reel. NO video games, it was board games or cards. But it was a wonderful childhood and I wouldn't have traded it for anything!
you should get little puzzle piece ornaments to put on each of the kids trees, with a large puzzle on the main tree !

When you went shopping, I suspected you chose this genre.
In Europe most of the taller trees are garnished with these strings of balls.
Sometimes it is a two colored string or just transparent or frosted balls.
Often you will find instead of Pointsettia flowers, birds ornaments in the tree.
In your red themed tree you can choose robins The ornament is fixed on a kind of (horizontal) clothespin, which is placed on a branch.
To make the basket for the foot of the tree fitting, you can humidify and stretch it. But Jared solidified it thoroughly 😊

Celiac here: After being diagnosed with Celiac Disease and having to stop purchasing store bought bread with twist ties, I complained on a trip home over tea while visiting friends & family. The following Christmas my Sister-in-law's mother sent me a full roll of that twist tie like you have. I love it to bits! Never knew they made such a thing and it's so handy!!! She has since passed but I think of her every time I use it.
Oh those tree basket bottoms i can think of endless uses after Christmas for them too 😊❤
Lucky us we would definitely get a 20 day marathon in November of the tree decorations just so that everyone in the family is decorated by December 1st 🤣🤣 omg the amount of shopping 😮

You could put the base the tree sits in on a round wooden base with lock wheels , would make it so much easier to move

Have you thought about wetting the tree skirts to stretch them?
They should be more pliable when they are wet and keep the larger shape when they dry.
It won’t take too much water either so you don’t need to take them off the tree.
Everything looks amazing too. Might even do my tree today

The video game nostalgia in my home is real ha my fiance is a collector so we have ever system all the way back to the atari and my kids still love to play the Nintendo 😅we even have an arcade with all the old school arcade game like gallaga and street fighter ❤

Hahaha.. we had tv’s where we had to scream to whoever was in the roof to move left or right. Then move the rabbit ears as well to get reception for the tv . That had maybe 5 channels. Our tv was black and white. Then came “ living color” trinitron. Memory lane. When cellphones came out. They look like bricks. Crazy but true. Now I feel old hahahah.

The trees are magnificent!! May I offer a thought for the fireplace.....the trees on the mantel needs just a little red...red berries or small red bows, nothing much just a little something and a few white lights. I think you need something coming off the garland on the mantel so there is not such a big empty space between the mantel and the fireplace. Maybe a simple version of your outdoor garland. Elegant balls, red glass, something different than what is on the tree. Just a thought. As usual you did an awesome job!!! Can't wait for the rest of the rooms! ♥🎄
