Thank you, it is so similar to the Kansbol though. I like the 2000 more to be honest.I have been getting right into that multi mount though. Mostly because of the chest rig I have been wearing.I think the pikkusissi is going back on there this weekend though 🤣.
I had a 2000 once and sold it don't know why , should have kept that one they are excellent whittle knives. I wish both blades came with their carbon steel option.
It certainly is both great value and very versatile. I think you are probably right. I also think if value is part of the equation the stiffest competition maybe comes from the cheaper Moras rather than the more expensive ones. Thanks for watching mate.
I never understood that trend to sharpen a spine all the way to the handle. Can't say I've ever found a need to baton logs in the woods either. Seems youtube likes to make stuff up then defend their crazyness with more crazyness. I've never used a kanspol. How is that blade for cleaning fish? I kinda like that thin tip. Not a big fan of the sheath on my Garberg. I'm guessing I could make a kydex fit both.
I don't actually remember ever cleaning a fish with the Kansbol. It should work great for that I imagine. I will be going fishing on Friday so maybe I will put that to the test. That's if I am lucky. We have far too much water in all of the rivers at the moment after the snowmelt. As for the sharp spine it rarely bothers me, but a rounded spine is nice sometimes. It is nice also to have something larger to strike a ferro rod on though especially when it is cold (which is also about the only time a ferro rod has any advantages over a lighter in my opinion). I certainly did a lot of things differently before TH-cam and not necessarily less effectively). I also think that battoning is more useful when there is a ready supply of sawn logs and no available axe. In the forest there are generally plenty of small dead twigs. I wonder what percentage of battoned logs have been cut with a chainsaw. I bet most of them. Thanks for watching mate.
Moras are fine knives, but I just find them boring to look at. I do have one on my garage work bench and I recently picked up their bushcraft black, so it's not that I dislike them. Lol
Great idea, tossing the 2000 into the mix. 👍🏻

I really like the Mora 2000. Might just be one of my favorite Moras.
Me too mate. Thanks for stopping by.

It is really quite surprising that they aren't available in carbon steel.
Maybe one day they will do something about that.
Thanks for watching mate.
The 2000 is the best knife they sell when it comes to value/versatility imo.

From an aesthetic point of view, they really don't have much going for them do they?🤣. Thanks for watching mate.
