The only way SFV would get my attention is the return of Q.
There's nothing wrong with you, Capcom has just milked Street Fighter so much that for some of us it's just gotten stale plus the strict 1 frame combos in SFIV make it practically unenjoyable to me.

+crastine4eva It's not irrational, it's more to do with pride. Think of it like this: you can't do something well, no matter how much you try. But then somedy else possesses your body and shows you how that not only they can do it, but do it with the same tools (such being the body) you have. Choosing the same character and beating you wih it is the VideoGame equivalent.

So here's my question, are you able to summon the bike, then simply jump over it and still have it hit your opponent? If so, then could you in theory treat it as a projectile rather than... whatever it is your supposed to do with it? and would that be a better use of it.

Now, HOW exactly would Omen be even considered a joke character? His random fireball? Dude, if he's made of "pure chaos", that makes perfect sense that his projectile is random. Chaos is often seen as an uncontrollable energy, so...
I'm... having a hard time believing that Rash is a joke character. Does having wacky/cartoony attacks makes him a joke character depsite him fighting seriously?
Faust (GG), Platinum (BB), Teddie (P4A), Phoenix Wright (UMvC3), Deadpool (MvC3), Dampierre (SC), these characters don't take fighting seriously, they LAUGH... HARD in the face of danger. Rash? He knows how to fight; he just can morph his body... although a wrecking ball is a bit of a stretch. He's enjoying himself... even if it's a very 90s attitude. At best, he's like Dan, but even then, Dan became... decent in recent SF games.
Just my opinion though...

That sound plays when Rash "eats" a projectile with his tongue... except he didn't eat anything.

they missed a counter breaker. say if max would tried breaking when he did that it would reset the combo meter to that of a newly started combo while he would locked out of inputs for 4 to 6 secs. sense he missed it he caused himself to be stuck in recovery phase and got punished.
That noise means they're attempting a counter breaker.

Finally got KI today, and I'll soon be getting some character packs. I've only done the practice mode with Jago...and already I think this game is damn amazing. However, I am REALLY overwhelmed by the information I have to input to get decent sized combos and damage. Kinda struggling with Combo Breakers as well. (I am trashcans at this game). Any tips for a young noob?

What the fuck is that bike made out of? Paper?! It can't handle anything.... Rash certainly has a Killer Instinct, but the only thing its killing is himself.

As a player who only recently followed Max after MK came out, this is my first time actually watching KI. Can someone explain this game to me? I dont understand what lock out, and shadow moves are, or instinct. This game looks cool but i have no idea whats going on
To directly address your 3 questions: lockout is what happens when you attempt a combobreaker at the wrong time (indicated by an orange "X" over their head) or the wrong strength (indicated by a red "X" over their head). Both prevent you from being able to break a combo for a few seconds, giving your opponent ample time to finish their combo for max damage.
Shadow moves are moves that hit 5 times and take up shadow meter (the blue bars that you see at the bottom). You can use shadow moves by themselves, to open up a combo, to extend (or link) a combo, or to end a combo.
Instinct is a buff that is unique for every character, indicated by the yellow bar under the health meter. You fill this up by getting hit or performing combobreakers. In theory, you can have 1 instinct meter per life bar (since KI goes by health meters and not rounds) but some characters can have 3 overall. For example, Jagos instinct allows him to not only throw two fireballs, if those fireballs connect, he gets health back. Any other questions?
Combo breakers: Strength and timing? I understand there's a heavy and light punch/kick. So do you have to match the strength-punch/kick at the same time as theirs?
vxSetsunaxv pretty much. This is the basic combo structure of KI: opener- auto double- linker- ender. You can mix that up if you want, so it can be opener- linker- auto double- ender. There has to be an opener and an ender though. Also you can't perform a combo using just opener- ender, because you will be combobroken every time
Auto doubles are moves that automatically hit twice in a combo. They vary in strength from light to medium to heavy. Light auto doubles are the hardest to respond to because they come out fast, but they fill up your KV meter (the bar that you see pop up when a combo starts. You can't let it hit 100% or your combo blows out, not letting you get max damage. Shadow moves don't add to the KV meter, however). Medium auto doubles are slower than lights, and moderately fill up KV meter, and heavy auto doubles are the slowest, as a result KV meter doesn't fill up as fast. In order to perform a combobreaker, you have to match the p+k button of the auto double-. Light auto doubles get broken by light p+k hit together, mediums get broken by medium p+k together, and heavies get broken by heavy p+k together. You can also break linkers as well. Light linkers hit once, mediums hit twice, and heavies hit three times. It all comes down to getting acclimated to move animations, and player tendencies in a match. That's the basics though. Anything else?

Too bad that the online community for KI 1&2 in Kaillera is kinda dead, and FightCade doesn't support KI. I'd really like to start learning KI after seeing Max's Assist Me video, but if there's no multiplayer arena for a competitive game, it naturally feels stupid to start getting into it (I have like one real life friend who plays the kind of games I do, and that's because I've led him to them from the NHL and CS games). I would gladly play _this_ version of KI, too, but since it would require buying a console that costs half a grand, and who knows what sort of online fees, it's not an option. I hope I'm still into the idea when this comes to PC.

He died nobly and gracefully on the bike? Cmon Max I know turbo tunnel is hard but it is not the end of you. I made it trough that stage as a 10 year old on the NES.

I'll admit I haven't played the game that much, but I also messed with Rash and Exhibition mode definitely seems to be where all the trolls and scumbags reside at.
I was eventually able to get a set with a cool Fulgore player, but before that was shitters everywhere. Not exactly a great way to represent the game.
I think that is to be said for any fighting game to be honest. In fact, that's not even exclusive to fighting games. Any game that has an online multiplayer component runs the risk of having assholes lurking about
