The Avenger Street 220 has the fuel tank may look similar to the one in the old model, but the new Avenger logo and the golden and red decals make the tank area look quite stylish. Bajaj has equipped the Avenger Street 220 with rubber bellows on the front suspension forks to complete the full black look of the motorcycle. Braking consists of a drum at the rear, but the front disc now has the option of single-channel ABS, an option worth a little less than Rs 7000 over the non-ABS Avenger.
The Avenger Street is built around the same tubular double cradle frame as the old model. Powering this motorcycle is a 220cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled DTS-i engine, which puts out 19bhp and 17Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.

They should put the dominar 400 engine and bulk up the tyres and chassis by making it look like Kawasaki Vulcan 650 or Kawasaki Eliminator 400.
Seating comfort and price is why people are buying this avenger bike. Any upgrade in it will increase the price and make it a competitor to RE and people will RE over bajaj anytime for its brand value, bajaj has already experienced it with Dominar 400.
I think specs are good enough for decent enjoyable ride with that price.
It is definitely a budget friendly cruiser. Any more features and upgrades, the price will shoot.

I wish Bajaj would put the N250 engine in this, with a bit bigger light. Also increase the rear tyre size to 140/70/16 and the front tyre size to 100//70/17, with dual channel ABS.
Also a sharper rake angle reducing the wheelbase by 50mm and a higher ground clearance by 50mm.
Also a monoshock rear suspension, if possible.

I was planning to buy this hence I visited Bajaj showroom in Mysore - Karnataka and they said it has not been launched and they have not received any updates regarding this 220 street avenger 2023 model. Can you please confirm when this will be available across PAN india ?

Abhi agar Bajaj isme new oil pump aur new engine oil is bike ke liye deti (jo P150, N160 me aata hai) toh 100 tak bhi vibration nahi aati.

Outdated engune...opd suspension with thin tyres....frame need upgrade too. Dual disk with abs needed...bajaj still living in 2010...also switch is still of discover.

My Avenger 220 street model 2018 every 1 year self start problem. Battery change 2 times in this five year.And CDI problem one times.
After u put key wait for 5 secs and then hit start button without acceleration ur problem will be solved.

Avenger never had a kickstart
Rear tyre is wider + heavy any large pothole will put sudden heavy jerks on ur back. The pillion ia not at all comfortable for rides more than 1hr. Using avenger 160.
