Great video. The aftermarket IMS tank in the 450l is about 3x heavier than the stock titanium one. So that also contributes to the top heavy feeling. I went back to the stock tank and it makes a big difference. The fuel on the stock tank is center and lower vs the IMS tanks is higher up and spreads out to the radiator shrouds. Extra fuel range but adds a significant amount of weight to an already heavy bike.

Seeing this video is great because I just recently turned my DRZ400sm into a somewhat dirtbike I put 21 inch wheel on the front and 18 in the back with the dirtbike tires and I’ve been recently using it off road it’s my best option for a cheap dirtbike but it honestly has been working well. Definitely heavier and feels like the 450

My friend and I have the same bikes as you, he even bought the ECU. Being an old fart, the 350 is great for me, its so much easier to pick up than my DR650. Like the "First Elite."

Gromatron; if you’re not standing while riding you’ll trap a leg when going down instead of simply walking away unless your trying to have Tanner carry you home in his arms while you hang off his neck😂just leave your old ways behind cause Tanner already has a girl😂👍🤙

I fall on that little slimy hill at least once every time we ride the Wayne. Too much muck from side by sides all over it.

Yeh, ya gotta love those mud holes that never dry up too, talk about some stinky shit, and ruin a Jersey with one wrong move lol. I wish I still had my 86’ IT200, I’d love to show these guys how an antique bike and rider can boogie from Dorr Run up to New Straightsville with the quickness. What do you ride BTW

that Honda 450 belongs blasting around some wide open flow, not the small steeps n' creeks crawl style riding - which is perfect terrain for that husky 350.....
Honda is a size 11 foot, inna size 6 slipper in those trails! I dig your vids
weird riding behind your old-self...!!!ha ha

You need a KTM 500 EXC-f, light like the 350 but big power like a 450. Awesome supermoto platform too.

I’m glad Honda is now making a bigger street legal dirt bike crf450rl. But I think the husky/ktm bikes are just more bang for your buck. The 350 has everything better about it and can still hang with the 450 power wise. And if you just need that extra power the 501s it’s still lighter then the 450 with all that husky goodness. Only down side is service intervals, there high maintenance bikes so hope your a wrench turner. But if your willing to sacrifice some weight for even more power, less service intervals, and longer engine life, 701 enduro!

Seems a little unfair to compare a trail bike to a dual sport. Of course the dual sport is heavier. Also as another person commented, dual sport bikes don't really fit the type of riding you like to do. They're not very good for low speed crawling.
