What an amazing voice! It gives me shivers down my spine … How come this magnificent artist is not that widely known? All the songs in her native language also bring the Nordic culture back to life, like the ways of old. I’m impressed!
not only her voice but the whole setup and structure is divine.
Thank you for taking me to the Faroe Islands and finally here. I think I'm a bit obsessed with beautiful Eivør and her ethereal voice.
I'm from Brazil. Your music is fantastic. Amazing. Congratulations!
I love this song so much. Like pretty much all of her songs. I wish I could see her live! Perfection.

Hello, how are you my beautiful dear
I need the lyrics )':
Seven moonlit tears I cried
Tides collided in my eyes
Waves can wound a moonlit shore,
but they can’t hurt me anymore
Tangled in my mother’s hair
Currents combed my bones bare
Her currents swirled though my ribs
Spinning seaweed to selkie skin
Ashore I dance the sacred night
a surging wave of pale moonlight
a seal-spun daughter of the tides
Never again a captive bride
She sounds kinda like a mix of Kate Bush and Bjørk
What is this song about?
Someone lost at sea I presume. Any other guesses?
@@jimbosammy4255 i think it could probably be about a Selkie?
@@rosegoi360 Selkie?
@@jimbosammy4255 In Scottish mythology, Selkies or Selkie folk meaning "Seal Folk" are mythological beings capable of therianthropy, changing from seal to human form by shedding their skin. They are found in folktales and mythology originating from Orkney and Shetland.
The folk-tales frequently revolve around female selkies being coerced into relationships with humans by someone stealing and hiding their sealskin, thus exhibiting the tale motif of the swan maiden type.
yeah, i searched and copy paste that lol
But that's it.
Close your eyes...listen with your soul...
