LAOS ADVENTURE. Monks on elephants out for a walk in Pakse, Southern Laos.

Came across these beauties on the roadside on our way to one of the many beautiful temples scattered in and around Pakse in Southern Laos. There is always something new and exciting to see in this beautiful country.

Yes it is. I don’t feel comfortable with people riding them but I figure if the elephants don’t like it they could throw the 50kg monks over the fence in a heartbeat. I actually think they enjoy the interaction.
