I think I commented about a year or two ago about wanting a bike like this.. well 6 months I did exactly that! We have the same colour, roughly the same mods but got the Yoshi exhaust and kept my mirrors, absolutely beautiful bike and thank you for the inspiration
J Yeah, you should look into their website. However, I’d recommend GB Racing engine covers as they come in 2 parts so unlike R&G you don’t have to change the whole set in case the bike goes down. I learnt that the hard way 🤦🏻♂️
Mirrors are definitely important. I put them on when I ride on the street now. Take them off for the track. It's a tedious process, but I guess important.
Good point about the stock muffler sound. I have a 2016 and I'm not upgrading the exhaust for the sound reason. I park my motorcycle in my middle of a very corporate workplace. I always let it warm up before I drive, throw on fully exhaust, I'd be fired within a week.

SledgeHammer Thanks man. The only reason why I didn’t get a slip on yet is because I like the motorcycle to be relatively silent when it’s idling or at low speeds on the streets. On the track, this stock exhaust is quite loud above 6k RPM. It has a really sweet exhaust note. Additionally, the stock exhaust has a servo, which helps create torque at low RPMs. I personally think that’ll be compromised with a slip on. Unless you don’t care about that stuff of course 😄

Have to find an importer to arrange for the purchase so I’m sure I won’t be getting it anytime soon. Same goes for the rear sets, but those are next in the list of performance mods after the shorty levers. I’ve already spent 30,000 dollars on the motorcycle and these mods. Plus an additional 5,000 on the riding gear so I’m broke now LOL. But once I’m ready I’ll do another sweep of upgrades.

CBR 1000RR FIRE BLADE in my country Malaysia it comes with brembo brake calipers in front.. Why your bike uses tokico calipers? It is from factories or you changed it?
Hisyam Mustafa This is actually the standard version so doesn’t come with Brembos and comes with Tokicos as stock. Brembos are available on the higher SP model or can be purchased as upgrade separately. I’m not sure if it’s a country specific thing, but in India the standard model only comes with Tokicos.
To reduce damage during crashes on the track. Otherwise it’s a track day wasted. It’s not about the cost as that’s covered under insurance. It’s about reducing damage to avoid risk of non-operational conditions. Not really needed on the streets on insured bikes I guess.
Nice Ride. I have the '17 model, same color. Same issue with the side mirrors. You just need to pull your elbows in like 2 inches to see what's there. I find my elbows being in the way helps from being blinded at night by all the other cars headlight reflections. I really would only recommend removing them for the track. To each their own though, it's your bike. I would also say you've eliminated your front blinkers/parking lights when you removed your side mirrors. The triangle configuration the side mirrors form with your headlights create a solid way for others to see you. Not sure why, but mine came with oem black engine covers. I'm guessing the R&G ones are steel though? Did you have to order the R&G stuff direct from the UK? That's what I'm having to do. Everyone's always sold out for our '17+ model year. I'm digging that Puig screen though. One more thing I'm going to have to buy ...
Robert Rinesmith Thanks for such a detailed feedback. I put the mirrors back on soon after making this video. Realized they are necessary no matter how useless they seem. 2019 color scheme is a little different this year as compared to 17-18 so the engine cover color is the same for all motorcycle colors including the SP I think. 2019 standard has a titanium exhaust though which was only available in the SP earlier. I got all my after markets through a dealer in India, who I believe imported all the items through UK. All R&G parts are plastic though. Apparently they are better at protecting during a crash as they don’t change shape to create pressure points on the main parts and they slide as efficiently as metal without the risk of grabbing on to the tarmac, which metal sometimes does. 2017-2019 should be the same though. Yeah, this Puig screen looks dope. Can’t get over it.
How does your puig windscreen fit?? I just recently installed mine but it's not as snug as the OEM and you can hear it vibrate and rattle while riding do you have the same issue cause it only had 2 sets of holes the OEM has 3 sets..
Ashley Alon Mine actually fit quite well. You’re right there are only two sets of holes instead of three, but there is a notch in the center, which if slotted properly makes the screen fit in quite snugly. Plus the original rubber washers from the OEM screen provide good amount of cushioning so mine fit just the original screen. No rattling issues. Maybe try reinstalling it?
@@C4R30N yeah thanks for that maybe I'll try reinstalling in but I'm sure I've got that notch in at the very bottom but now that you say it maybe it must've slipped because I can push down on that area so maybe it's not in.. I'm just more worried if rain will slip in through it cause a bunch of wires are under that section 😂😂
Ashley Alon Yeah, give it a go. It should fit as securely as the stock screen. Doesn’t move or flex at all. I remember I missed on that notch a couple of times too while installing because I was trying to be too careful not to break any parts/locks, but I did make sure it was in place before I tightened the screws.
Tried to reinstall the windscreen same problem if I put in place with the notch when I go to put in the screws it moves out of place and is again loose might be a defect with the screen cause too much space and gap and the notch on the puig screen is small . So gonna refund and get a zero gravity

Yes, on the 2019 anti-wheelie can be turned off by bringing the traction control and wheelie control down to 0. Keep holding the up or down select button and it will go past the cycle of 1 to 9 to 0.

However l have given a list of items with proper names in the description. If you go to their company websites, or even search on Google, you’ll find the items online quite easily as almost all the parts are bike specific.
Actually I put the mirrors back on for the streets. I realized they are needed regardless of my preference, especially because they have integrated turn indicators.
The mirrors after you extend them out you were supposed to just turn the ball ends to find your angles that's all lol you need mirrors can't be turning your head after 40 mph
P DOG Yeah, I actually put them back on soon after making this video. Now I just take them off during track days. Although it’s not like I didn’t know how to use them LOL. No matter how much I adjusted, they just weren’t spread out enough. Or maybe I’m wider than average.
Lever guard is actually not meant to protect the motorcycle in case of an accident. It’s there to avoid accidental entanglement with another rider while racing on the track.
Damn maybe it’s the one I’m using. The problem I have is that the bolt goes into the OEM handlebar vibration defeating weight and that is rubber inside which is why it rotates. I track regularly too which is why I wanted one, what lever guard are you using?
@@fireblade1k952 I’m using a basic R&G molded. But I mounted it on the inner metal part of the handle bar opening directly. No rubber parts. Metal on metal. Maybe that the reason.
Dawngtea Khawlhring It’s actually pretty good. After market ones are too loud. This stock comes with a Servo which keeps it quiet under 5000-6000 RPM, above that even this stock becomes quite loud and has a good exhaust note to it. Plus the after market ones don’t provide any performance improvement unless you go for the full system with race filters and ECU remapping.
fakhry rayes I’m trying to find one. Unable to get hold of a dealer that could provide original seat cowl. Don’t want to put in a cheap one from Alibaba. Lever guards on the other hand are actually only meant for the break levers. They are not really needed on the clutch lever.

Glyn Williams Not in my country man. In India it’s close to 30,000 and no matter how hard you try in any part of the country, this is the best price for a new one regardless of the year. In fact, I think Honda just allotted a handful of these for India so they are kinda rare here.
for street...you gonna scrape it doing wheelies. for racing...your putting weight high up on the chassis for no reason. at an engineering stand point it doesn't make sense to run it like that. for style yeah it looks cool. so consider that.
@@Xmoto16 scraping the muffler is only a problem if you do high wheelies, yes having the weight there is not optimal for performance, but styling is a huge part of these kinda bikes too, undertail just looks so much better.
I’d ditch the rear turn signals for flush mounts and swap that pipe for a black m4 slip-on. And some pazzo levers. Other than that, get her to the track.
Francis Shoshoni I’m unable to find decent flush style indicators, so I’m sticking with the stock at the moment. Do you know about any good ones? Pipe and levers I’m sticking with stock at the moment until I know what I need. Too early for performance mods for me.
C4R30N Not a ton of options for that year CBR, but they do make a couple integrated tail lights. That would look most clean. As far as the exhaust, the M4 slip-on doesn’t increase performance, just sound and aesthetics. No tune required.

Yes, had to remove the mirrors and pull back the fairing a little to slide in the front stub.

Ali Jan thank you for liking and subscribing. I didn’t give any links because I bought mine through a dealer and prices will vary from country to country. However l have given a list of items with proper names in the description. If you go to their company websites, or even search on Google, you’ll find the items online quite easily as almost all the parts are bike specific.

Where did you install the turn indicators?
Actually I put the mirrors back on for the streets. I realized they are needed regardless of my preference, especially because they have integrated turn indicators.
The mirrors after you extend them out you were supposed to just turn the ball ends to find your angles that's all lol you need mirrors can't be turning your head after 40 mph
P DOG Yeah, I actually put them back on soon after making this video. Now I just take them off during track days. Although it’s not like I didn’t know how to use them LOL. No matter how much I adjusted, they just weren’t spread out enough. Or maybe I’m wider than average.
So I put a lever guard on mine but it’s not solid. Is yours?
Lever guard is actually not meant to protect the motorcycle in case of an accident. It’s there to avoid accidental entanglement with another rider while racing on the track.
Lol I know that. Just wait until you go 150 and that lever guard gets pushed down by the wind and scratches your fairing. Ask me how I know...
@@fireblade1k952 oh no. That doesn’t happen. I ride regularly at 299 on the track and it doesn’t budge an inch. But does rotate when forced with hand.
Damn maybe it’s the one I’m using. The problem I have is that the bolt goes into the OEM handlebar vibration defeating weight and that is rubber inside which is why it rotates. I track regularly too which is why I wanted one, what lever guard are you using?
@@fireblade1k952 I’m using a basic R&G molded. But I mounted it on the inner metal part of the handle bar opening directly. No rubber parts. Metal on metal. Maybe that the reason.

Dawngtea Khawlhring It’s actually pretty good. After market ones are too loud. This stock comes with a Servo which keeps it quiet under 5000-6000 RPM, above that even this stock becomes quite loud and has a good exhaust note to it. Plus the after market ones don’t provide any performance improvement unless you go for the full system with race filters and ECU remapping.
Also get the seat cowl and another lever guard for the other side to complete the look
fakhry rayes I’m trying to find one. Unable to get hold of a dealer that could provide original seat cowl. Don’t want to put in a cheap one from Alibaba. Lever guards on the other hand are actually only meant for the break levers. They are not really needed on the clutch lever.

Glyn Williams Not in my country man. In India it’s close to 30,000 and no matter how hard you try in any part of the country, this is the best price for a new one regardless of the year. In fact, I think Honda just allotted a handful of these for India so they are kinda rare here.
Honda really needs to start putting that muffler under the seat again.
for street...you gonna scrape it doing wheelies. for racing...your putting weight high up on the chassis for no reason. at an engineering stand point it doesn't make sense to run it like that. for style yeah it looks cool. so consider that.
@@Xmoto16 scraping the muffler is only a problem if you do high wheelies, yes having the weight there is not optimal for performance, but styling is a huge part of these kinda bikes too, undertail just looks so much better.

I’d ditch the rear turn signals for flush mounts and swap that pipe for a black m4 slip-on. And some pazzo levers. Other than that, get her to the track.
Francis Shoshoni I’m unable to find decent flush style indicators, so I’m sticking with the stock at the moment. Do you know about any good ones? Pipe and levers I’m sticking with stock at the moment until I know what I need. Too early for performance mods for me.
C4R30N Not a ton of options for that year CBR, but they do make a couple integrated tail lights. That would look most clean. As far as the exhaust, the M4 slip-on doesn’t increase performance, just sound and aesthetics. No tune required.
