UPDATE ON THE WATER LEAK~~IT'S FINE, I'M FINE, IT'S ALL GOOD

The water leak took some time to locate exactly where it was in the wall but the men found it. There were a couple of places where there were teeny tiny cracks and when the person upstairs ran water down drains it would drip in the wall in my apartment. After they fixed the leaks they waited a couple of days to make sure they found them all before they hung drywall. I can tell a huge difference in the amount of humidity in my apartment and the ability of my a/c unit to cool. I was dumping the dehumidifier 3 to 4 times a day. I'm so thankful for all their hard work and having a dehumidifier and fans to dry out the floors and walls. Life is great. It's really nice to be a renter and not have that burden on my shoulders to figure out how to fix it and how to pay for it to be fixed. I love it here. The men are so nice that fixed the wall. They cleaned up after themselves every day before they left. I couldn't ask for better landlords. My cup runneth over.

You do not deserve any of this.
It is such an inconvenience in the heat and being a senior citizen. I don’t have the strength to get out of bed let alone have my whole house in chaos and have to put it all back together.
Keep those fans running to help get everything dried out. It is the black mold I worry about for you. If you notice any new health problems in the months to come or symptoms from black mold poisoning take action right away.
I feel for you and you are always in my bedtime prayers.

Man oh man this has been such a long drawn out episode.
I really hope that they finally got it fixed. If I lived closer I would have taken you out to eat while you were going through this and get you laughing a bit. Things can only get better… Hang in there. God is on your side…🙏🏻💖🙏🏻

Okay, these were the kind of claims i handled at my job. So let me ask, is the landlords insurance covering this loss? If his insurance is, do you have renters insurance with ALE ( Additional Living Expenses). Your renters insurance could put you in a hotel if all of these things are in place.
