I love when songs like these plays in oh shit moments, when you genuinely feel like the enemy is throwing everything at you. When your map fills with red pings, mechs,tanks,turrets,Vtols. All sorrounding your lance in a target rich enviorement, and you just blast all your weapons, the heat gauge filling up, the armor colors blinking.
I agree, good music at the right time makes the feelings much more intense. When the music hits, the adrenaline pumps, and you know it's going to be a good fight.
Or you're stickin it out in a Warzone with your coordinated Lance of players, then THE BIG WAVE shows up, where they TRUELY throw everything at you, and you and your mates really are stood there thinking "OH FUCK" when five lights, 3 mediums a Heavy and like seven Assaults show up, turns out guess what bitch, that Heavy is a muthafuckin MARAUDER So many moments I've near shat meself lookin the radar, one time I saw a tank, went to deal with it, and legitimately screamed when I saw it was a fuckin Demolisher😂 My mates (barring one who's a damn MASTER at the game) were wondering what the danger was, what made this mysterious "Demolisher Heavy Tank" so threatening? Then I told them it's got TWO AC/20s, and they IMMEDIATELY agreed "yup, let's stay about 2 million miles the FUCK away from that thing🤣

When paired with rhythmic stomping of a King Crab, thumping of AC20s or an HGs, roar of a Large Laser and a whirl of LRMs, this song hits *entirely different*
I love the beat parallel with COD's "115" That "four beats high, four beats low" of the supporting guitar is identical. It's actually uncanny how a LOT of MW5's tracks fit extremely well with 115. I mean, if an instrumental version of 115 was in a MechWarrior 5 DLC, I wouldn't even notice.
