Thanks for top notch vids i have a duel zone BA Fairmont 2004 and started to have problems with the buttons on front panel of ICC some times would work and some times not at all random so after watching your vid pulled Icc unit. Front panel board looked brand new no cracks soldier joints ok. But power in circuit board on top of cd stacker not so good as you showed in your other vid so i went over all soldier joints bench tested then refitted to car all works great now and all buttons work all the time so far .Great content keep up the good work
Thanks for the video great information I have something similar and for at least 5 years my BAII heating has not working and considered removing the dash to inspect the HIM and got to the point of removing ICC unit and thought don't have the time at the moment and plugged it back in and it worked for about 3 weeks so I will look at this and your other video on the plug at the back of the ICC. Thanks hopefully something shows up.
Hi I have a Ford 2003 BA Ute & the same head unit you have discussed does not play CD's in my 6 Stacker CD after a few seconds just ejects them like the laser for the CD does not see it so ejects, only plays intermittently on CD number 6 though song jumps all over the place, have tried using a CD cleaning CD with the small brush fixed to it & adding cleaning liquid many times to no avail, can you help solve this ideally without having to remove entire head unit thanks Neil
Hi 2004 BA single zone CD player dont play the disc inserts ok few seconds later it spits out the disc. Any ideas or help would be great thanks. Like you videos keep it up
@@MCRadios i swapped the whole unit (like what u got on the bench) out from another ba, but kept the flat mounted box right at the bottom with the car. The car runs fine, the a/c works, the heater dont work but code come up on the screen. I do the AM and menu tricks it for 5mins. Is that an easy fix can i get a code for it? Cheers
My BA xr8 center unit works well BUT the CD player doesn't work. It won't accept a CD into the player . It is a single CD unit . Can it be fixed and who repairs them ??🤔Can some one please let me know!

Depending which 6 CD mechanism you have by checking my TH-cam on the repair of 6 CD mechanism.

just try to clean the lazer by using cotton stick or buy lazer cleaner if you do not want to take it apart.

@@lukebyrnes5235 take the ic 602(eprom)from your unit and solder into the same location in the new unit as shown in the video.
