In English they are called 'Moving Pavements' because you can take a wheelchair easily, whereas the 'Escalator' - moving steps - you need strong wrists to hold up the wheelchair. Rode a few with my wife!! My friend's Thai wife laughs a lot and one has to join in. You are amusing.......Mr Bar has a big shadow in his film.
