It is a wooded campground along the shores of Lake McDonald and is one of four campgrounds within the park that accepts reservations. Janet. Have you ever considered creating a Tourism company? You know all the good Spots. Also, people want to know what you know, and see it all from your eyes.
    I'd Invest in that Company!

    Glacier is so, so beautiful. I did a backpacking trip on Bowman Lake up to Hole In The Wall. I can't wait to go back. The next trip will be Kintla and upper Kintla. It truly is the crown jewel.

      I took the Highline trail to Goat Haunt and took the boat into Canada. That is a great hike.

    I'm going to my 3rd trip to Glacier this year. I have reservations at Many Glacier Hotel. I haven't been there since 1983. I here it is more crowded now. The greatest park bar none.

    Did your certain spot allow dogs?

    • @RadiantRealty
      @RadiantRealty  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think dogs are allowed at the campground but you might want to check the website to confirm. They aren't allowed on the trails though so it's not easy to have them along if you want to explore.

    What are your thoughts on bringing small children to glacier? I will have a 1 year old at the time I’m thinking of going and she’s pretty easy to tow around in a carrier but I’m a bit nervous about bears. We’d also keep our hikes relatively short and I’m not sure if there’s a lot we can see with that limitation?

    • @RadiantRealty
      @RadiantRealty  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Do it. Bring bear spray on your hikes (not on the airplane, you can buy it at Walmart or Costco here, you can also rent it at the airport or in Apgar village) and have it easily accessible throughout your hikes. Sure, you won't get to go on some of the longer trails but there is so much to see even from Going to the Sun Road lookouts and you won't regret it. :) I'm not sure of your fitness level but try Rocky Point Hike, St. Mary and Virginia Falls hike, maybe Trail of the Cedars and Avalanche Lake, Hidden Lake Overlook, etc. Plus, those trails are well traversed so others will have bear spray as well. ;)

      @The Adventures of Elizabeth Marie I wanted to visit Bora Bora with my husband for our 25th wedding anniversary but the opportunity presented itself on our 20th and we took it. I'm so glad we did looking back now. We never know what the future holds. Embrace every moment. You can always return again when your baby is older as well. Take lots of pics and make those memories. :)

    Hello just watched your video we will be staying in this exact site C106 with a 22' travel trailer how would you say it is for a trailer? Thanks for the info.

    • @RadiantRealty
      @RadiantRealty  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh wow, when are you coming? It’s been a few years since we stayed at this one, but if I remember correctly we had two small tents and our vehicle. I imagine you would just pull the trailer through the parking pad? If it said the campsite can fit that I’m sure you’ll be fine. Lots of trees in this one though.

    Does fish creek campground reservations serve as going to the sun road pass.

    • @RadiantRealty
      @RadiantRealty  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe any park reservations do (boat rides, campgrounds, etc) but you might want to verify that.

    No pets at the campgrounds or trails. Why is that?

    • @akingspalace4050
      @akingspalace4050 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Might have something to do with interference of wildlife, either by food or droppings.

    • @RadiantRealty
      @RadiantRealty  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can have pets at Fish Creek Campground, just not on most trails in GNP. I imagine it's twofold. The wildlife balance as mentioned below and also just a cleanup and litter standpoint. No dog poop on the trails or dog bags left along the trails. Also, dog food and treats are not to be left out as they attract wildlife. :)

      @@RadiantRealty The few times I’ve been to Kalispell (I live in Texas) I didn’t get a chance to see any of the nature except for one day boating on flathead lake. I got about knee deep and lost my breath due to the cold water. Lol. So beautiful up there. But I haven’t been in the winter yet so I am biased.
      Makes sense about not having dogs on the trails now.
      Please keep doing these videos. They are really good.
