The first event of the 2024 FedExCup Playoffs starts this week as the PGA TOUR heads to Memphis, Tennessee for the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind. This is the first of three Playoffs events, as the top 70 will become 50 and then 30 at East Lake for the season finale. Scottie Scheffler returns after his dramatic come-from-behind win at Le Golf National to win Olympic gold. The American's gold medal is now paired with his six TOUR titles this season. The world No. 1 has never made the top-10 in his two starts in the Playoffs at TPC Southwind. Rory McIlroy also makes another run at the PGA TOUR’s biggest prize. McIlroy has two wins this season which came back-to-back at the Wells Fargo Championship and Zurich Classic. He’s also claimed three top-5s in his last four events, including a fifth place finish at the Olympics. Xander Schauffele also tees it up in Tennessee this week. The two-time major winner looks to go one better than his solo second finish in the Playoffs last year. He claimed T24 at the 2023 FedEx St. Jude Championship. Others to look out for are Collin Morikawa, Ludvig Åberg, Tommy Fleetwood and Viktor Hovland.

Way to fight through adversity Hideki I am so proud of you and I have been a fan since u played in Rochester at the 03 PGA
He may have only gotten bronze in Paris, but he got a big payoff winning this one. Personally wanted Scheffler to win myself, but will always be happy to see Hideki pull it off. Omedetou gozaimasu Matsuyama-san!

前半でアプローチの際、ラインに関係ないカラーのピッチマークを踏んだとして「罰打があるかも」と11番終了時に告げられる。
完全なる揺さぶり。確定してから報告が筋。
それで動揺したのか4ホールで＋4。よく立て直して勝ち切りましたね。ほんと凄い。
前にも全英で良い調子で来てたのにスロープレーの警告があった。その際は同伴競技者のプロが「遅くない」と競技委員に言ってたと記事で見た。
記事が事実だとしたらほんと腐ってる。

A good revenge from the Olympic Games.
Hideki nearly choked but then he regained consciousness and finished the job. Well done Hideki and all the other players who put pressure on him.
Great effort but hovy considering the season he went through. Big ups to Hideki tho🥳
Highlites don't tell the whole story, especially in the final round. Frankly only seeing great shots is boring. Considering the drama involved, it would have been a lot better to show the ups and downs.

With the ranking battle heating up, it was extremely disappointing that big names Justin Rose and Jordan Spieth did not make it into the top 50 this time. Due to this year's regulations, you will not be able to participate in the 2025 season signature event at this time...
However, I don't know if there will be any new reforms!
Also, I don't want them to go to another organization. Personally, I feel lonely.
