I had fun recording this, just simple sounds for you, crinkles were always my favorite sound to record, i present to you the new ginger kiss packet and the original silver soaps for you.
I really wanted to bring this to you using my 4 main mics but something happen and one of my Rode NT5 had a problem again.... i used the OKM binaural mics but there a little restrictive but had some nice binaural depth to the recording, only a little.
Update: 01/01/2015 yes no talking will follow, editing it right now it does sound quite good

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

Sounds : Crinkle, Tapping, Scratching & multi layering of different sounds together
Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours.
As with all my video, my intentions is always to provide you a little home away from home, where you can kick back relax and always find a new and unique experience as i guide you with sights & sound to a relaxing location where my objective is to let you feel gentle waves of relaxation & ASMR until you close your eye to fall into a peaceful sleep.

Something I remember being very crinkly, as a child, were the bags of lego peices that are contained inside the set boxes. The plastic was very stiff and poppy and the lego peices made a very unique sound as they shook around. The silver soap reminds me of that.

How about a crinkly story time video? Maybe you can find an old story book with some really stiff pages and you'd wisper the story to your viewer's? Even if you find an old blank journal with stiff, crinkly pages and create the story yourself! Could make for an amazing journey on your part and another added achievement in the crinkle heaven series! Love your videos by the way!

If you can get your hands on a bag of Gevalia ground coffee, I would love to see that in a future video. I love the sounds the bag makes, especially combined with the ground coffee inside. It has a nice deep crinkle sound. Keep up the awesome work, I love your channel!

Will there be a No Talking version of this coming? I enjoy listening to your videos when reading, but it's difficult to focus with the talking in the background. Don't get me wrong, though, I love talking when going to sleep!
In the case of the silver soaps, isn't more about the wraping than the content itself? Maybe get the same brand of wrapper? I imagine you guys have already tried that, I just find interesting only that batch had that special quality.
