  • You wanna visit Koh Chang? Then simply watch this video, and you'll know exactly how to get there without paying an expensive tour company!
In this video I'll show you where to buy your bus tickets, which bus you should take, how to buy tickets to the public ferry across (Pro tip: The price of their taxi service is negotiable), and finally get to your accommodation on the island.
And to finish it all off I'll take a swim at a nice beach in paradise!
    Welcome to Koh Chang!

...nice video....that 999 government bus is actually better because it takes you straight to the pier, unlike other buses that terminte only at bus stations 40 minutes away from the pier and will make you take another songthew to go to the the pier.

With combiticket at the ferry pier, you have paid a higher price. The normal taxis on the koh chang side costs less. Buts its not so much. Maybe it was more comfortable with your minbus.

It was airconditioned, so definitely more comfortable! Possible that we paid more even though we got the price down a bit 😅

How is Koh Chang now? Lively? or is it boring for a solo traveler?

Hard to say since we were there just at the start of the high season (so still a bit quiet). But I saw people in some of the hostels, so I'm sure you could find some fun people to hang out with (especially now that the season is really starting)! 😄
