The thumb technique blew me away, I'd always hear that the thumb should be behind the neck, and here she goes and uses it to stretch. That was awesome ! The entire performance was, just that setting her thumb was like taboo.
For non-guitar players: this is an instrument with a very limited dynamic range, when compared to say the violin or piano. For a guitarist to achieve this much accuracy, expression, and emotion on a piece like this is a monumental feat. Bravo!!
awesome play... lol i just noticed that the 2 lower strings are tuned down. i managed to learn 2/3 of that piece in 2 days, and actually managed to play it with that handicap(only dropped d) , despite of that one damn chord which is not possible.... duh. actually funny how some passages which were easy now are hard and vice versa. gonna be able to play that beautiful piece at the end of the week. thx for the record, i compared them to others and that is one of 2 outstanding Perfomances. i like the right mixture of feeling and technique. this is a composition which HAS to be played with expression, but i don't like when people overact (there are quite some professionals overacting that piece). good job. inspired me to lear n that too.

The thumb technique for that stretch!!! Amazing playing! That stretch scared me away from this piece but maybe now I can try it using the thumb
