      Speaking of Klay I could be WRONG about this but given the depth of this dallas mavericks ROSTER it might reduce the PRESSURE for him to perform as early as possible. I know 2 years off the court is a long time for an NBA player but maybe an organizational change is what he needed to take as much time as he needs to get to where he would have been by EFFICIENTLY prioritising his workout schedules over the course of the season without having to worry TOO much about the TEAM'S record as time goes by so given the new TEAMMATE ROSTER that he now has there is a possibility that the 2 year recovery HIATUS he went through impacted him but didn't stop him.

      @MrE_ say what you want but the Mavs just went to the Finals last year on the strength of Luka playing PG. I agree about Grimes starting over Klay

    • @dreamvveaver
      @dreamvveaver หลายเดือนก่อน +19

      No that would be a really bad idea it would be a problem in the locker room and could make their chemistry worse. You know they signed Klay with a promise of him being a starter right and Klay is one of those players that can be affected by their emotions heck he doesn't get his confidence back yet and you want him to get bench when he is already playing decent while Mavs is still winning. You see it doesn't matter whether Grimes becomes a starter or on the bench what matters is giving him more minutes and touches while on the other hand if you want the best version of Klay you need him as a starter. First to get his confidence back, second is because Klay doesn't fit the 2nd unit that usually plays with Kyrie 6mins in the first quarter because Kyrie likes to play at a fast pace while Klay fits more with Luka's playstyle and you can notice it because Klay with Kyrie just averages 9pts on horrible efficiency while Klay with Luka is averaging 15 pts averaging 38% on three. And lastly Klay might not be hitting his shots but he still had a huge impact like his gravity due to being a 3pt threat heck in the grizzlies game they got Bane glued to him despite not hitting his shots and Bane is a good defender so it makes guys like PJ and even Lively at times open leading to Klay having one of the highest plus minus in Mavs despite missing 4 games.

    Dallas lost the chip this year is either due to gambling, high level conspiracy, injured players, or else NO WAY THEY ARE NOT 2025 NBA Champ

    Can we appreciate luka being mad after tge first clip, the loss to thr jazz, after having THE FUCKING WORST DEFENCIVE PLAY ball watching, letting his man slip, not moving 2 inches. Thats tha mosnt infuriating thing ever. Always with the complaints even when he does some bs like that.

    i dont know why u guys act shocked , last year they started playing after all star .
    i expect more or less the same this year ... i dunno why they do this and its kind of silly of them but
    as long as they dont burn out in play offs and/or get injured , i dont rly mind .

    Not the same, much better. Most casuals overreacted as they always do, media does it too, now they say “oh no reason to have been worried they lost all those games by one possession “
    It’s the way it is now, annoying for long time nba fans. This team wasn’t healthy, starting with Luka. Him finally sitting to get healthy happened the same time Kidd started playing Grimes and Naji as playmakers, oh, and PJ and Lively got healthy. That’s why they won, Lukas back and healthy and all the haters are missing. It’s quiet.
    Now they just need one thing, to trade a first or two seconds and Hardy for the man that’s always been missing. Dorian Finney Smith. He belongs in a mavs jerseys and should be part of them once they finally hoist that Larry O’Brien

    I love my Mavs BUT one of the biggest reasons for the turnaround the past 10 games is the trash schedule they’ve been playing. Just saying…

      He’s playing better now. Not a mistake now, and Bogdan would be too much assist to give up for him that’s too big of a contract for the Mavs to wanna give up important pieces for him

    Jokic the only superstar that doesnt have any help. Luka has Kyrie, Tatum has Brown, Giannis has Dame, Brunson has Kat, KD has Booker etc.
    Imagine him with an all nba level teammate, shi would be borderline cheating 🤦‍♂️. Mavs were like 6-1 without Luka, Jokic could only dream having a team this capable.

      Quit crying he had arguably the best team in the nba for the past 3 szns now they’re starting to fall off and the west is getting better and younger while the nuggets get older and less deep. Blame the front office and blame ur own team for not playing up to their standards instead of making excuses

    • @AngelValdez-mr3fq

      Jokic is a statpadding bum. He will die without ever beating a 50 win team in the playoffs.

    • @GracieKiller660
      @GracieKiller660 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      I don’t wanna hear about Joker getting MVP if they are 8th seed since that was argued why Luka didn’t get mvp last season. Even though he averaged the most points per game in nba history and didn’t get mvp.

    • @AngelValdez-mr3fq
      @AngelValdez-mr3fq หลายเดือนก่อน

      @GracieKiller660 Jokic hasn't deserved a single mvp he has gotten. Last year was Shai or Luka but they said no to Luka for being a 5th seed and didn't even have an excuse for Shai. The second one the nuggets were a 6th seed so no way he should have got it. The first one has wasn't even the best player that year and in the off season he was called the worst mvp ever.

      It turns out they don’t really need Klay’s 3pt shooting now that they have 3 new role players who are consistently shooting and making more 3s than Klay. I don’t think it was the smartest signing because it gives them no flexibly with the starting line up.

    • @justap7164
      @justap7164 หลายเดือนก่อน

      He’s doing better now. More to basketball than shooting. He’s a guy that can space the floor, pass the ball, play decent defense and can shoot decently it’s not that bad of a signing
