The dealership had a field day on the customer that traded it in lol! After killing it on the deal now they'll turn over this GR for a monster profit! 😂
every toyota dealers is greedy. probably the most greediest brand I see so far. Plus recent fake data manipulation on safety of all recent Toyota cars These 2 factors are really killing my desire to buy a Toyota for my next car.

I’ve found 3 different GRCs at MSRP in the last 2 months. Clearly you haven’t even gone to the dealers
I'm betting that the original buyer bought it without knowing how to drive stick.
They probably had trouble enjoying it as they never grew comfortable driving it and just decided to cut their losses and get something more reasonable.
I was in a similar situation and honestly considering doing the same, but I'm so happy I pushed past it. I was always paranoid about burning the clutch or stalling out for the 1st 600 miles, to where I didn't enjoy driving it and felt like I didn't deserve destroying such a special car. It's not easy learning how to drive stick without a good teacher.
By 1,000 miles I love it, and am happy I pushed through the learning curve.

I’d say that more than mpg’s, that someone was probably surprised by the cost of ownership. Insurance was also pretty high, maybe the previous owner also had a partner that strongly disagreed purchasing this… or they had a surprise baby haha. Definitely a big wake-up experience 😂

Wicked little ride and I'm a true Toyota fan so it wouldn't take much to convince me lol. That 52 mpg in the Prius doesn't sound bad either though 🤔 I guess it just depends on what your needing at the time. Great review 👌

Dealers are still asking people to “ call for price “ 😂 for a 300 hp “track car “ that overheats and will be butchered by every V8 Camaro, Mustang, and Corvette on track. Toyota never fails to fail on track. This would be a fun but not fast.

Well that’s a ~$55 car that uses premium fuel inefficiently and has sky high insurance rates. They got a ~$40k car that uses regular fuel effectively and has dirt cheap rates… sounds like they screwed up financially and decided to fix the situation.

Neither car screams cool to me.
I tried GR Corolla it’s very soft riding has a little bit of power but nothing crazy. Toyota infotainment at that price is a no go
Honestly, they keep the basic model corolla and just add the drive train, but didn't do much to the information system at 40k.
I like this car, but it's wider than a Camry or Accord. If I wanted a midsize sports car, this wouldn't be it. Same problem as the Civic Type R. They have become massive sized. Who asked for this? If I want a sports car, I want a small agile car, not a widebody vehicle. I will take the smaller WRX for a fun car, with better engine and better AWD, and better price with no markups.And no fraud class action lawsuit like Toyota for financing fraud.

This car is cool online to people who can't afford one anyways but i don't see any on the road. Huge fail for Toyota. 17 year olds cant affords this, and grown men won't buy it anyway. Huge fail.
