Likewise, many feel that America or the United States is to be blessed by God. But can that really be true ? Note what is found in the Bible at Daniel 2, whereby an "immense image" of a man made up of various metals was seen in dreams by Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar.
In his dream, he saw the Babylonian dynasty as "the head of gold", Medo-Persia as the arms and chest of silver, Greece as the abdomen and thighs of copper, Rome as "the legs of iron" and then we finally reach to "feet and toes of iron mixed with clay".(Dan 2:1, 31-33)
Who are the "feet and toes of iron mixed with clay" ? Britain/America, with the United States being dominate on the world scene. At Daniel 2:41-43, it describes the tense relationship or failure to bond between the "iron" or bodies of people that are unyielding, harsh, demanding, like ancient Rome, with those who are unstable, like soft clay.
So, Daniel 2:41, say that within the United States (as well as Britain) that "the kingdom will be divided, but some of the hardness of iron will be in it". Verse 42 says that "the kingdom will be partly strong and partly fragile". Verse 43 states that "just as you saw iron mixed with soft clay, they will be mixed with the people (whereby individuals have each a political agenda, so that there can never be any unity); but they will NOT stick together, one to the other, just as iron does not mix with clay".
But how will things turn out ? Verse 44, says that God has set up a "kingdom" or heavenly government that will "crush" the "feet and toes of iron mixed with clay" or Britain/America, along with all the other political governments and their supporters, to make way for God's Kingdom to take full control of earth's affairs and restore peace to the earth that was lost in the garden of Eden.(Dan 2:34, 35)
God's Kingdom is the only government that has God's backing.(Note: God personal name is Jehovah, Ps 83:18)

Likewise, many feel that America or the United States is to be blessed by God. But can that really be true ? Note what is found in the Bible at Daniel 2, whereby an "immense image" of a man made up of various metals was seen in dreams by Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar.
In his dream, he saw the Babylonian dynasty as "the head of gold", Medo-Persia as the arms and chest of silver, Greece as the abdomen and thighs of copper, Rome as "the legs of iron" and then we finally reach to "feet and toes of iron mixed with clay".(Dan 2:1, 31-33)
Who are the "feet and toes of iron mixed with clay" ? Britain/America, with the United States being dominate on the world scene. At Daniel 2:41-43, it describes the tense relationship or failure to bond between the "iron" or bodies of people that are unyielding, harsh, demanding, like ancient Rome, with those who are unstable, like soft clay.
So, Daniel 2:41, say that within the United States (as well as Britain) that "the kingdom will be divided, but some of the hardness of iron will be in it". Verse 42 says that "the kingdom will be partly strong and partly fragile". Verse 43 states that "just as you saw iron mixed with soft clay, they will be mixed with the people (whereby individuals have each a political agenda, so that there can never be any unity); but they will NOT stick together, one to the other, just as iron does not mix with clay".
But how will things turn out ? Verse 44, says that God has set up a "kingdom" or heavenly government that will "crush" the "feet and toes of iron mixed with clay" or Britain/America, along with all the other political governments and their supporters, to make way for God's Kingdom to take full control of earth's affairs and restore peace to the earth that was lost in the garden of Eden.(Dan 2:34, 35)
God's Kingdom is the only government that has God's backing.(Note: God personal name is Jehovah, Ps 83:18)
