    I have been replying numerous comments insulting our religion with equally venomous words in return and after seeing this video I thought I must follow Shk Qhadi's valuable advice and remain patient. May Allah give me strength and peace!

      +ANVERKAMISS Wonderful, Mostly the commenters hear that they are ignorant islamaphobes ,which perpetuates their ignorance. The darkness in their eyes can only be diminished with light.

      +Agustín Magallanes of course not! But is this a question or a statement?!

    • @powrnjustice
      @powrnjustice 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Agustín Magallanes of course Quran doesn't intend what you have written...keep listening to Yaser Qadhi he will clarify all your misconceptions about Islaam. Best wishes for your endeavor to search for truth and to find it!

      Hamza Tursunov The verses I wrote were taken from a copy I have, and it clearly says those things.

      +Agustín Magallanes dear Agustn, you are committing the same mistake ISIS and their types are committing i.e. taking 1400 years old religious text reading it on your own and looking at it with 21st century prism. Both you and ISIS read the text literally ignoring the spirit, context of revelation and purpose of the text. As you wouldn't pick up textbook on Medicine or Pharmacy and start treating yourself without consulting with the experts, you should also not read the translation of the religious text without going to the experts of the field, ie people like Dr. Yaser Qadhi. Finally many so called translations are done by people who don't understand the English and Western culture. So those translators superimpose their own cultural and religious understandings, views, narratives on the translations. Therefore, my dear please do yourself a favor and youtube Dr Abdul Hakim Murad Cambridge University, an Englishman who converted to Islam and listen to his lectures...best wishes

    The sheikh gives an excellent khutbah and points in the right direction, and may Allah reward his efforts. But regardless of one's opinion regarding "gun violence" and therefor gun control, bringing it up will likely only serve to further alienate those we engage or indeed other Muslims who don't share one's particular view. Singleness of purpose is key. I hope I am well understood.

    22:20. What Does Allah have to say about this? "As for those who sell for a small price the covenant and faith they owe to Allah and their own plighted word for a small price, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter. Nor will Allah speak to them or look at them on the Day of Judgment, nor will He cleanse them: They shall have a grievous torment, a painful doom." [3:77]

    I hate the ideas in Islam as much as I hate the ideas of Nazi party, yet I have never had a problem with anyone because they happen to be Arabic or German. It seems you still misunderstand that in the West and particularly in the US, your religious affiliation is not the same as your race or national identity. Therefore, crushing or mocking your religious ideas are perfectly acceptable and a positive force in our free society. I am a secular humanist, please feel free to mock my beliefs until your heart is content, I respect and actually truly honor your right to do so. I hope that if you have a good REASON for me to change my mind, the logic of that reason will prevail and I will change my beliefs. That is why the West has cruised past the rest of the world in this manner, we respect what is appropriate to respect, and change our beliefs when the facts warrant it.
    Also, tell me any other country where Muslims are more free than here in the US. Please tell me, if there's such a problem in this country with this, where else in the world are Muslims MORE FREE than here? If you're not, why wouldn't you want to leave? Try China or Russia, I hear they love diversity.
    On the other hand, as an atheist, which Muslim majority countries would you suggest are my best options to immigrate to, or even just visit? You demand we not mock your silly beliefs, yet the fact that I could very likely be KILLED in your societies for my beliefs seems a tad unfair...
