Trust me, I know. There are so few left these days, and that’s why it was especially exciting to see how busy everybody was here throughout the time I was there. Glad to see a few shops still thriving!
There’s a local music shop in my area that carries a little bit of everything, and though it’s a few bucks more than say Sweetwater, I always go there when I can to support local business. Just a single person owns and operates the place. I’ve bought several guitars and basses from him. I just now started playing drums, but I can remember about five or six years ago, he had a full Ludwig Vistalite kit minus the snare. If only I knew then what I know now! This place you visited looks like the ultimate drum store, like physically browsing Reverb. If I ever find myself in that part of the country, I will be sure to check it out. Really enjoying this series.
Another awesome Off The Beaten Path. I bought a matching 13x9 tom for my Oyster Blue Pearl Ludwig kit last year from Klash Drums at the Chicago Drum Show. Jeremy was super cool and gave me a really good deal on it. Even though I broke up a 3-piece kit, he was still very happy to sell me the drum.
I have never been in a drum shop before, and for that reason, I found this video so much fun. I can’t even imagine walking into a place like Klash. I think I would just go nuts. Thank you so very much, Mike for taking your own time to make this wonderfully entertaining video.
Jeremy's a great guy and his staff have always been very knowledgeable and helpful. I've not been to the new expanded location yet but am planning to check it out in the near future! Great video BTW
Have purchased several things from Klash over the last couple of years. Always have cool stuff in stock, will take a video of something if you need to hear it, and great prices. Great store!
😂 I love this dude: "here are some sticks, go hit something, there's not enough _RACKET_ going on" 🤣🤣💪🏽
Erik is great!
@@malonedrum always down for more RACKET 😃
Okay.. THIS. Is my favorite episode. This place looks like a Dream come true.
That’s my goal, every episode is the new favorite

You don't know how happy you guys in USA are - there is NOT ANY drum shop like that in my whole country

You’ll definitely enjoy this store, and good on you keeping a local music store alive.

It’s a great experience. Like a Reddit drum subreddit in person!

Agreed, I never made it to the old shop, but this space is massive for a drum shop which is great, and it’s full of stuff
Jeremy is a great dude. Love seeing more about his shop!

Id love to visit this place. 😊
Great shop, great people, great city.
Even in London now there's not many drum shops. Lots of guitar shops with one drum kit in the corner,😏

You gonna go to Chicago music exchange at all? Or music go round in greenfield or Kenosha ?
Have a few more planned, might try to get to the MGR as I love what they do!
These guys are all really good dudes. Great spot for lessons, Adam has helped me out a TON. I need to get over to the new shop!
The new shop is fantastic, although very much still a work in progress so be patient with them as they get settled in.
great channel ! I subscribed fellow drummer from ontario canada. cheers
