I like her speed over the ice. Great triple triple combo, but her double axel is brilliant! She was actually capable of a triple axel, so she has great technique.
Underscored. I would have put her a place or two higher. However, at this OG the PCS seemed to matter more which I don’t disagree with. I personally thought Cohen and Arakawa were top 2 in the SP.
I wondered if other people noticed that! Kimmie recently said in an interview that Sasha didn't practice much on Olympic ice, so maybe she was nettled that Sasha could skate so well despite (what appeared to be) a lack of preparation. (Not hating, I love Sasha AND Kimmie!)
She should of been ahead of Fumie Suguri at least. & be in 4th instead of 5th after the short program. Since she did a triple-triple & Suguri only did a triple-double combination.
ChristineTheHippie just expressing an opinion. & thought Kimmie’s program was more technically difficult than Fumie Suguri. I know her spirals weren’t as strong but neither was Fumie’s spirals. She’s not able to get her leg up completely in the air either. Therefore, I just thought Kimmie was underscored a bit.
Wow was she underscored here. She had the technical content of today's women in that program!
Not really. Her 3-3 was underrated and some of her other elements weren't as strong as the others.

She was in the audience during Sasha’s short program and Sash’s was excellent. Kimmy looked mad.

@@cleoambrosia Actually, you have no idea when Sasha would fell everywhere on the ice.
Or maybe she was nervous/concentrating? Why try to look for bad intentions?
So under scored !!!!
Shame on the judges for underscoring Kimmie especially when she completed a beautiful triple/triple combination.
Everyone skated well and it's nice just jumps. Kimmie's spins and spirals weren't as strong as the top skaters.
She was scored lower on artistry. What do you think, Rick?
The triple triple had multiple problems though. Not really beautiful at all.
Gorgeous

It's not keeping about jumps
Her spins and spiral weren't that strong

UNDERSCORED
Underscored. DUH!
her 3-3 combo should be downgraded for sure today.
Agreed! Perfect example of a Toe-axle.
