Ingredients:
1- 350 grams daal mash (washed)
2-1/2 kg chicken
3- 1 tablespoon salt
4- half teaspoon red chili
5- 1 teaspoon chilli flacks
6- 1 teaspoon cumin
7- quarter teaspoon turmeric
8- quarter cup oil
10- 2 medium size onion
11- 5 clove garlic
12- 1 inch ginger
13- 4 small size green chili
14- 2 medium size tomatoes
Instructions:
"First, rinse the lentils and clean the chicken. Then, heat oil in a karahi (wok) and fry the chicken until it's golden brown.
Remove the chicken and set it aside.
In the same oil, add chopped onions and fry until they change color.
Then, add whole spices (khary masaly) and a paste made from blended tomatoes, green chilies, ginger, and garlic.
Add salt, pepper, turmeric, and chili flakes. When the water dries up, add the lentils and chicken.
When the lentils are cooked and the water has dried up, add 1 cup of water and simmer on low heat until the lentils are soft.
When the lentils are cooked, add garam masala, fresh coriander, and green chilies. Serve with roti , raita and salad."
