DGD is one of the only bands i know that can balance the clean and unclean vox perfectly without sounding forced. This album is so progressive, it flows so much better than Acceptance Speech. Every line has its purpose.

Been listening since downtown battle mountain 1. I'm 24 now, and even though I stopped listening to hardcore and post hardcore for the most part. I always stuck with Dance Gavin Dance because of how versatile their sound is. Never thought something off their latest album would be my favorite song from them ever. Shame Tides of man dissipated, but DGD couldn't have picked up a better replacement. I still listen to Dream house.

Guys I've been listening to DGD for almost 6 years now and out of every band in this genre they just bring something special to the table, its like im a kid again discovering something new and fresh with each album, helps me through tough times, this band is truly amazing
Part 1: morning after a one night stand
Part 2: the two talk it out, he realizes she already has a significant other, he reluctantly accepts that
Part 3: He's still in love with the girl, his friends try to talk him out of it (Got a box of lies, gonna get you high, with the words of wisdom that you need to hear)
Death of: The guy is tired of having this girl stuck in his head, so he tries to pursue something with her despite the other guy in her life
That's how I interpret the series. Maybe that's just me because I can relate to that.

Remember the first time I heard this song. Played it for weeks during the summer driving with the windows down. This song got me through college. Probably my all time favorite song out of any band.
This is still probably one of my favorite fucking albums, and it only came out last year.
Do you know what I mean? It's already a classic and it hasn't even been out long enough to reach mainstream acclaim- but that's okay, it doesn't have to.
This band has and always will be one of the most innovative of its kind, and that's why they're my favorite band. Actually, there's a dozen reasons but that's just one of them...I hope I'll be able to see them when they come my way this October.

The first DGD song I ever heard. It was February 2017 and my friend Sarah sent me this song, the riffs intrigued me but I couldn’t quite get into either Tilian or Jon’s vocals. Flash forward a little over a year later and I rediscovered DGD with Midnight Crusade and they quickly became my favorite band of all time. So thank you Sarah for sending me this song that one fateful day in Pre-Cal, it ended up changing my life so much for the better
