Yes, beautiful mountain country. Thank you for the tour! You would probably be impressed by the pali on Oahu in Hawaii. That's their name for the mountains. Some are sheer, vertical, green cliffs with sharply pointed spires. Just gorgeous.
Wow what a beautiful videos with such magnificent landscapes. I worked the whole night and came home a little over an hour Before and I cannot stop watching your videos. My eyes were almost closing when I came home and now i am very much wach and watching your this video. I know it is not the recent but it is for me new as I have seen it now.... I have been following Noraly of "Itchy Boots" on her motorcycle tour since the beginning, from New Delhi, through 25 countries. I am happy to see a bold Indonesian lady travelling solo by motorbike. I am a Malaysian and I have been to some of the main Indonesian cities, and Medan is one place, I use to watch with awe, ladies riding their bikes in chaotic traffic with ease. Me, I wouldn't dare ride a bike in Medan. Great vlog of your travel, replete with picturesque scenery.

Syifa Adriana, when I first saw you stop your bike and give a little description of the area and scenery and the muddy roads with puddles, I recalled Noraly's ride on the longest no man's land just before she reached Kyrgyzstan. Immediately, I visioned the Indonesian ladies I use to watch in awe. I immediately knew you were confident in your riding. Less than a month ago Harald Baldr did a motorbike tour of that area you are travelling now. From what he described road conditions and experience, it is a tough journey. Ride safe and experience the joy of it.
@@samraj3179 I think the area that Harald took was different than mine. I remember visiting Lao Cai back in 2016. There are so many outstanding hill tribes and fascinating roads to explore in North Vietnam. Thank you so much again, Sam for your kind time to watch and comment on this video.

Mother nature is beautiful and so is the lady shooting it. Well 8 hrs drive in such weather is really challenging. I felt at times u lost ur side while driving driving which is really risky but good thing is not much vehicle crossing by. Enjoyed watching your video. Wish I could see it in real

Thank you Maxim! I would live to upload more but editing takes the most out of time, especially when I was on the road recently. I was traveling and filming for the entire month in Sri Lanka, and did try my best to keep up with editing Vietnam series.

Thank you for your lovely comment! :) Yes some of the roads can be less maintained in rural areas, but most of them were pretty good in comparison to some I've experienced! All part of the experience though - I definitely encourage you to try to travel too!
If you keep stopping at wherever that have beautiful views, it will take you months to complete your journey of north Vietnam. I know it is hard to not stop and enjoy the beauty of nature since it may happen once in our lifetime. Anyway, if you are really adventurous, get off the main road and visit some of the border markets. I know some of what they sell at those markets will blow your minds. I had plenty of fun and learned much about Vietnamese's ethnic foods and customs when I visited those markets. Just ask the local people for directions and they will gladly show you. Oh, there is a place where boys and girls are gathering, and the boys will kidnap the girls to be their wives. Vietnamese government asks the ethnic minorities to abandon this custom, but it is still carrying on in some groups.

Thank you Maxim! I would live to upload more but editing takes the most out of time, especially when I was on the road recently. I was traveling and filming for the entire month in Sri Lanka, and did try my best to keep up with editing Vietnam series.

Thank you for your lovely comment! :) Yes some of the roads can be less maintained in rural areas, but most of them were pretty good in comparison to some I've experienced! All part of the experience though - I definitely encourage you to try to travel too!
If you keep stopping at wherever that have beautiful views, it will take you months to complete your journey of north Vietnam. I know it is hard to not stop and enjoy the beauty of nature since it may happen once in our lifetime. Anyway, if you are really adventurous, get off the main road and visit some of the border markets. I know some of what they sell at those markets will blow your minds. I had plenty of fun and learned much about Vietnamese's ethnic foods and customs when I visited those markets. Just ask the local people for directions and they will gladly show you. Oh, there is a place where boys and girls are gathering, and the boys will kidnap the girls to be their wives. Vietnamese government asks the ethnic minorities to abandon this custom, but it is still carrying on in some groups.
