Joining the band for No. 1 West are guest musicians Freddie Pelletier and Robin Pelletier on guitar, Gil Campbell on keyboards, Jason Heistad on fiddle and back up vocalists Maple Sugar (Muriel Samson and Brenda Frohaug).

What a distinct country artist with a style all his own! Hank Thompson, though well-known by many over the years, is a real legend often overlooked for his contribution to country and country/western music! What a voice!

I'm with you, Hon, but I kinda think you might like Niamh Lynn's While I Was Making Love To You. She's an Irish Country singer who has toured the USA, singing some of our old favorites, and her style is so Hank Thompson, it's eerie. Style, and she's a bit prettier.

I love Hank's music, I came of age in bars, forever feeding quarters into a jukebox to hear any one of Hank's great, great songs. I must have played his On Tap, In The Can, Or In The Bottle, his Fortunate Few, and his Mark of A Heel a million times.
Finding Hank's music on TH-cam was a godsend. Hank's music videos remind me of my youth in a free country, today a long-lost freedom, lost to the Politically Correct Communist fools who have recently taken over the whole wide world, including, unfortunately, the United States of America.
Today, 2022, the whole wide world is in dire need of a few Hank Thompson types, and the Commie nitwits in Washington D.C., the men and the women, ought to be charged with treason, tried, convicted, and hung.
