Those were the days. Listening to Pearl Jam's drummer at the en do fthe video made me a bit sad because the eventual "Alternative to the Alternative"ended up being people going back to pop divas, boy bands and butt rock.

Dude, Pearl Jam's drummer (Dave Abruzzese) just recommended this video on his Facebook page after seeing your comment.

It was nice living through and getting to experience big cultural shifts in popular music and attitudes.

It was incredibly uplifting to see people that looked like you, dressed like you, talked like you, and played a similar style to you after years of relentless hair metal. Long live grunge

Letting rap music ruin rock culture was the music businesses biggest mistake.
    Or was it?
Kid's are weaker and easier to financially control now that they follow rap stars, and rap culture.

As a 26 year old NO TF IT AINT. Please check out the Houston rock scene and acts like Narrow Head, Bleed, Superheaven and UK's Split Chain.

I just checked those bands out, Narrowhead is like a Deftones ripoff, Superheaven is like a Tool/ nu metal in general rip.
Splitchain just seems generic and not good.
Im old though, so what do I know?
      The Chili Peppers are murderers😂

Give it 4 years and grunge will be out as a bland, boring music style as well. And it will be to this day.

  • @123612100

And then grunge became butt rock and it was as bland and boring if not more than other music.
