Epson XP4100/XP4105: How to Change/Replace Ink Cartridges

In this short video I show you the ink cartridge replacement process for the Epson Expression Home XP-4100/XP-4105. This printer uses separate black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink cartridges that come under the 603/603XL codes. This series of Epson individual ink cartridges can be replaced from the printer directly and there is no need to use your PC/laptop computer.
Although we have used Epson Expression Home XP-4105, the process is exactly the same for the XP-4100, which is the black version of this printer.

Apparently there was too much time from when I release the cartridge till I put a new one in. And now my printer is not working.😢 Does it need more maintenance? How do I get it working again with the new cartridge in place?

The only real difference is the capacity of the cartridges. If you print pretty regularly, I'd definitely go for the 603XL. Simply because the cost per page is lower.

I purchased new cartridges for my printer from, Amazon. They are not Epson, but Amazon claims they will work. They did not work, the printer kept telling me to change them out. I called a friend of mine, who knows a lot more about printers, and when I told him what I had purchased he told me, nothing but Epson ink cartridges will work in an Epson printer. My only question is, why would Amazon sell you crap they claim will work, but doesn't.
