Very helpful vid. I had no idea about OTF. Why are font creators still making TTF? I recently purchased a font and received both font types which is why I watched this video.
Thank you! very informative. I learned lots. I've been wondering how certain fonts are randomly generating different symbols when I write. Never thought font contains many different capabilities.
Once you open the document and select the font you want to check. In the font dropdown menu, you will see a two coloured 'O' beside the font, this indicates an opentype font. While a Truetype you see "TT". Hope this helps.
Hi, the content was excellent, however, the background music was too loud and distracting. I started getting a headache after I listened to it with my earphones. I don't think tutorials should have background music especially when you're teaching complex details.
@@TonyeCreates No worries. Keep up the good work. The content of your videos are excellent. I may come back to your for some specific video requests. This video gave me enough information about a topic that I was researching. :)
Every time I download a font I Google OTF or TTF… This is my last time! Thanks so much for such a thorough description!!
