I honestly did not know that any of the Filofax System Organisers were made in synthetic materials. I thought they were all Windsor leather binders, like mine. An A5 FSO Windsor was my first Filofax, and I carried it for about 14 years as my primary personal organiser as a technology consultant, until I replaced it in 2008 with an A5 Bridle. But yes, the front pocket was designed to fit a 3.5" floppy disk. The System Organiser debuted in 1992, I believe, and I bought mine around 1994, to replace the Day Runner Pro half US Letter size organiser I'd used to that point.
