Stop complaining bro your unlimited data plan is capped at 20mbps....buy a normal data plan or buy a higher unlimited speed ban! There is 20mbps 40mbps and 60mbps else just buy normal data to browse at maximum speeds
Well, this is not to argue but to educate each other. When the unlimited speed cap is 20mbps, and you are connected to only your smartphone, no downloads or uploads, and you are still struggling to view WhatsApp status. And note there is a 5G network in my area.
@@a3teqThere's 5G network in ur area doesn't necessarily mean u will get a 5G speed. I believe u're currently using a 4G sim. To get a 5G speed, U will have to insert a 5G SIM in the router bro
Hello there many factors you didnt cover eg are you in a 5G area? or it switched to a 4G or 3G network?, also on unlimited 5g bundles they have speed caps and data caps. That will be a well done review.
It would give u 22mbps or 21mbps because you are using unlimited capped at 20mbs speed. This video is not very scientific because irrespective of the fact that you have 5G coverage you're testing the router with a capped data plan. The unlimited plan that comes bundled with the Airtel router is capped at ~20Mbps, and you never mentioned anything about using an uncapped plan to test the 5G router. Also, your title may be misleading seeing as your location could be playing a part in the slow speed that you're experiencing. The airtel 5G router is capable of speeds that the older 4G one can only dream of, you just have to test them in the right conditions. Anyway, I hope your experience with it improves soon.
@@a3teq Yeah. That's exactly what I said. Which is why it's not very reasonable to advise against buying the 5G router based on its speed capability alone. Because with an uncapped data plan and a very strong 5G signal, trust me, that router flies fast. I know because I have tested it.
I have actually used both and I can tell you that the 5g isn’t any faster than the internet speed of the 4G router. Save your money and buy the 4G it’s cheaper
I don't agree. The 5G router is significantly faster on my end. The thing is about the availability of 5G network in your area. I have up to 230Mbps on 5G network and the signal light is always green.
Are you sure you are not using the unlimited data capped at 20mbps. That may be the reason why you’re getting that speed. Basically, the plan restricts you to that internet speed
i just lost my 60k for this router, only having to be getting 2mbps in internet speed, no 5g signal, 4G signal on green and getting only 2mbps. Even if its unlimited plan is on a capped spleed limit 2mbps is really bad, when i tested it in a 5G environment i only got 18mbps. Too bad.
nah! give it time... all nigerian network are at their worse at this current moment. probably the weather season... MTN is even worse in some places... so give it time.. another thing is the congestion of users in your area.... if you stay in a very populated area with fewer airtel tower masses, you'll struggle to get quality signal... 5G or 4G your router will struggle... also if airtel network isnt solid in your area....hope this helps..

MINE AUTOMATICALLY TURNED TO 4G WITHOUT ANY SETTING .ANY HELP @MWINENGABO2971
I think they caps the speed to 20mbs on the unlimited that came with it, maybe that is why. Try do another special data plan
Switch to 4G+ and lock it there cause your 4g signal looks better than 5g. Mine was similar case cause i get 117mbps on 4G while 67mbps on 5G
