I’m not impressed by much these days, but this I love it. It’s literally stealth. No ridiculous turbo sounds or waste gate flutter just a faint hum from the v8. It’s unreal. I think it’s the first time I’ve ever seen a hot vee setup converted to single turbo.

Theres actually a german company called Klasen that have done the same thing but on an RS6. The power is similar and the build actually gets the german Tüv approval which is insane! Sick build and love the S8 shape!

@@hexagonosaurus5848 no, but it’s even more impressive if such a build gets tüv because for example it means that the car still has full cats and a relatively civilised exhaust which definitely costs some HP

Kids have an odd perception of speed. I have an A8L (still stock) with the 4.0TT and my 4 year old son thinks my 2006 sprinter van is faster simply because it is louder. On hard accel in the A8 he mostly babbles about something from daycare or what show he wants to watch later. In the slow ass van he gets super exited and tells me how fast it is 🤣

I took my hybrid turbo Audi S1 to Mo for tuning and I'm thrilled with the result, totally transformed the car. Down to earth guy who knows what he's doing and is always willing to help.
I remember seeing the S8 in the air with the broken diff when I was in so it's good to see it all back to life and everything going good! What a monster.
The child seat adds an extra 10 hp.....love this build.
Crazy. I used to buy fast car magazine, max power etc, 300 - 400hp cars were seriously powerful. Now a thousand plus hp is standard 😂

Won’t happen. The S8 will snap it’s drive shaft at the first launch. They are known for snapping with just a Stage 1.

Dudes on point for sure I don’t think anyone is doing this to Audi S8s, but people have been single turbo’ing rs6’s in North America since release in 2020 so definitely not right about being the first to do this to this style engine
Also kalssen was one of the first people to do single turbo on this 4L engine

I owned 3 S8. 2 of them were S8 plus. Grey, black and dark red, almost maroon. Great cars. Audi got it right with this body style and size. The new S8 is a little to long.

I first learned of an Audi s8 from the movie Ronin with one the best car chases ever . It sounded awesome in the movie as well but that audi right there is a pure beast .And if I'm not mistaken didn't audi do a W12 at one point ? Just thinking one of the audi fan club could answer the question of the w12 .I'm sure there was one in the Transporter movie but then again Hollywood can talk pure mince about cars lol 😆
