The bradley is a very good APC, But it still gets destroyed in Ukraine, Somalia, Iraq, etc. Just like any other APC, western or eastern.
It's equipment made for war. equipment in war gets destroyed, shocker.

The thing about that particular cope, "equipment in war gets destroyed," is that the time when you unironically believed Russian troops would abandon their positions in fear just from seeing them is still well within recent memory. And moreover, when you lose equipment, you're supposed to have some way to replace it. Which the West does not, certainly not within the timeframe left in this war, lmao.

There is nothing inherently special about the bradley. it's just another IFV.
You make a really good point on the replacement aspect though: The effect the bradleys, leopards, and what not are having is not that they're what NAFO would call western wunder waffen that will march on moscow in 2 days, that's idiotic.
The effect they're having is that they're giving Ukraine stuff to replace their losses with.

Does anyone know if the tanks with ERA will be added? T80BV and T64BV?
Since ERA was added in 1985 there's a solid chance it'll be in-game. IIRC the devs also mentioned T-80U at one point... When we get the Russian faction it'll be a big challenge for NATO, much more capable than the East German "hand-me-down" equipments

T-80 and T-64 will be added. T-62 and BMP-2 also. There's also going to be CAS aircraft and some other factions like West Germany

I picked up the game yesterday and i only played the pact forces so far, the bradley is an absolute menace, the ai already sent a tow to your location with pin point accuracy without seeing you
After seeing the video of an M2a2 ODS Bradley in Ukraine hitting a BTR with it’s chain gun, the clip of it here hitting a BMP is the closest I’ve seen to real life from a video game. These people really know their shit

I know its not war thunder. But why that WT Fulda map? I like it
Unity engine is an interesting game engine, plus the Fulda gap map in GHPC is a bit more accurate if you look at some images during the time
Because the gap running along Fulda would've been one of the worst meat grinders for armor if war had broken out back then
fulda gap would've been a decisive strategic location in a warsaw pact-NATO war. whoever held it could easily funnel their army across the borders and into east/west germany. this was speculated to be the main soviet axis of attack in the event of a european campaign. needless to say, any conflict scenario taking place in the cold war is going to have it included, especially a game about tanks.
The Fulda gap would have been a strategically important location if the Cold War went hot, and both sides knew it.
