- The history of Igbo resistance would be incomplete without telling of the 1803 Igbo Landing, the 31-year Ekumeku Movement, the 1901/1902 Aro Wars, the 1929 Women's Protest, and the 30-month Biafran War from July 6, 1967, to January 15, 1970. #HistoryVille

I’m a yoruba guy and now I understand the igbos more. They’re strong people ❤
💯💯
This is raw history of my people,i wonder why this video views is low, this is to show that we the igbos don't appreciate our history. There should be a great number of igbos appreciating this video.
Internet will suppressed it because of the truthfulness of the video, you won’t understand! you don’t know what we have suffered for decades! And many people including the head of Google and Facebook will not allow people knowing the truth, but regardless the stories and facts will be told…
Just share it. People wouldn't go looking for the video. But if you share it would go viral. I have shared it and hope more people watch. I'm proud to be Igbo.
Like and share it, that’s how the algorithm works to reach more people
I'm here cause I found out I have igbo ancestors 😅
@@saigakiragamiwelcome nwanne.
Igbos are a great African race, I really love them. Love from Greece.
How did you know about igbos in Greece
@@mostskillful6672 Better don't sleep on us. We world wide.
@@mostskillful6672these people know more history about us than we know about ourselves.
Nnem ndewo !! Our strength is in our people
We have Ekumeku Grammer school in ubuluuku , aniocha,Delta.
This is authentic history of the Igbo, much love to the warriors ,bravo, this is the history that should be told in Nigeria n school instead of eradicating history in schools to leave people blinded
Erasing these memories will not be possible. I think the best thing to do is to apologize and stop the marginalisation forever. The Igbos actually saw the future (which is today) and they struggled to change our fate....but couldn't because our forefathers refused to help them because they were blinded.
Much respect to the Igbos. They are warriors.
Yes we are heros
Much respect to the Edo's.
@@ritaowo7803 Igbos!!! 'Ibos'
Not edo
Make this go viral! The rest of Nigeria and the world need to know our history as Igbos. I know we are tired as Igbos, I know the then british system and now the Nigerian system has almost worn us out. Let us not give up! Ndi Igbo, please stand firm.
Nice documentary and long live ndi'gbo the nation with the LION'S HEART❤
please oh I like to ask at this time of this history what was the name of the nation cos at this time of history there was no Nigeria as we all know
And think this is why we are hated in Nigeria and British. But this is who we are and there's no one can change it.
To the future generations, Never let this history die!!!
I still don’t know why it wasn’t made into a movie yet. I read about this over 20yrs ago in Atlanta, Ga.
Wait for it, I only need help from the igbo actors to achieve this
Yes.. The world doesn't want to put Igbos on the map... Even their GENOCIDE is never spoken about. 😢
Am really happy, to be Igbo man from Anambra State
The West's close to 500yrs’ experience with the Igbo people gives them a 1st hand knowledge about the resilient and restive nature of the Igbo people . Thus they are just using Nigeria to keep the Igbo people in check. The West knows that a free Igbo nation will be a catalyst to the total emancipation of Africa. IGBO freedom is a MUST no matter how long it takes. It’s forever in our DNA. We can’t help it!!
The most fearless tribe
Lol.
Here we go
Igbo kwenu!
we have come a long way, igbo kwenu
Thanks for this brief account. The authorities have removed history lessons from the Nigerian school curriculum and you wonder why. The truth remains that those who don't learn from history are condemed to repeat it.
And many of their descendants in the Americas led many less talked about slave rebellions.
Indeed 💯. A few examples are Olaudah Equiano and King Jaja of Opobo..
This is history.
I enjoyed learning about this historical stories. Kudos!
Respect To Igbo People,,The Only State In The World That Fight Country,,
Thank you for this video
@History Ville, thanks for what you do. You need to make more short you tube e.g. 60 seconds videos with detailed and concise narration. You meed to grow your channel.Your channel is fantastic!
Thanks, Ma'am. We are working on it.
Yoruba and Fulani Hausa left the room. I respect my people. Igbo do not bow to any human being. This history is not popular in Nigeria because those tribes in the zoo government hates anything Igbo and scared of our greatness
If this resistance has been on for so many years, what do we think will keep the Igbo from continuously resisting?
We will never give up.
We are stronger and richer now and spread across the globe like never before.
Arresting one man won't solve the problem, because igbos are all built with same mind.
The only solution is to restructure Nigeria and stop marginalizing a part, or total division of the country.
You can't keep forcefully installing bad leaders and expect igbos to be happy.
Igbo can NEVER Betray..
Ndi igbo we are strong we are resilient we are brave
This is pure history of nde Igbo i appreciate you. Nde Igbo will rise again God bless Nde Igbo.
May God bless the igbo raçe
i believe its bcos of these resistances that made the British mandate to handover Nigeria to the Hausas and Yorubas during colonial times prior to independence...as a result of this, they were being marginalized hence demanded for their own nation
Please also make a documentary about the tribe that stopped the advancement of Usman dan fodio.
Also the benin Kingdom, how they resisted the colonialism😢
We are the greatest ever lived on earth
Proud to be igbo
It’s a wonderful film.
Nemesis had been catching up on Gowons people for decades now.
The fulanis had been killing and displacing his people and Benue that were used by Nigerian army to attack and kill the igbos through Nsuka/oboloafor axis.
Proudly Igbo😢❤
It's only a matter of time, Biafran must Stand💪
Respect to my enthic group the great igbos
Very painful history
remember at this time there was no Nigeria so please what was the name of the igbo nation at this time please
IGBO LAND
BIAFRA LAND
Out of all the major tribes in nigeria how comes the igbo's were and still the most westernised ie "christianity" if they never bowed down to the white man?
Oh! God, have mercy! Our people has been suffering for ages! Why all this, O'Lord?
Not only it all tribes in nigeria
Just imagine what they did to our people long ago.
How were they eating during this war period, O'Lord!
Hmmm
Point of correction Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was not arrested but was kidnapped/adopted illegally please know that and know peace
just passing by but wait what can of lie is all this cos note at the time of this history there was no name or group of people call igbo as we call or know it to be today same with the name yorba so I am asking Y will someone say he something but love the profit of something.
Igbos shall be free one day
You just said it as it happened nnem dalu... if i see you i will marry you i swear...😘😘😘😘
It’s Ibo not Igbo
It's actually Igbo. Ibo is a pronunciation commonly used are there was more interaction with other nationalities, but it really is Igbo.
What is ibo?
@@ezikedianah9770 the proper way to spell it and pronounce it
