Well, I like the shorter grip section of the 250. Glad you pointed out about the o-rings because for some folks, it might really get on their nerves, but not me. Thanks for showing these pens.
Thanks for this detailed comparison. And as someone else mentioned thanks for the tip about adjusting the clip. I'm sure I'd prefer the 250. I have a Kaweco Sport and while I love the pen, that nib is a little small for me.
I really like the 250. I like the larger nib. I do not own a Kaweco fountain pen. I do have the Dia2 ballpoint, though. Kaweco makes pens of high quality. I think I would enjoy the nib. I wonder if a Monteverde converter could be used which has threads. I wonder if it will fit.
Thank you Mike for all of the comparison details! I'm a fan of the bigger nib (always enjoy #6 over #5) and thought that the 060 model just looked a little diminutive! Cheers!
Thank you for the detailed review! I love the look of the matt black with silver. I think I like the bigger nib of the 250 more aesthetically, just to give it an extra difference with the sport and the perkeo. But I think the 060 will give me a better writing experience, with my small hands and how I hold my pen.
Hi Mike the 250 is certainly the most interesting asI have wished for larger nibs on Kaweco pens for years. Eventhough I know that the Supra has a no 6 nib I dont have that.
Aloha Mike! Nice review of both models. I own a few Kaweco Sports and Perkeo's and for the most part the nibs are quite consistent (I believe they are all the current JoWo made?), but find the small nib to just look out of place and like you said, I need to grip the pen further back on the threads of the Sport model. Mahalo for all that you do for the fountain pen community. Thomas
Kaweco Fountain pens are great. Happy that you are offering a giveaway with 2 Kaweco Originals. I would prefer the 060 model with the EF nib. It turns out that originally I bought lots of pens with Medium or Broad nibs mainly to compliment the ink better. Since buying a number of vintage fountain pens with finer nibs my handwriting looks neater than with pens with a broader nibs. Thank you 🖋
I'm a bit of a Kaweco fanatic. I've got "a few" but not this one. My Supra has the chonky nib, and it is glorious. It's perpetually inked up with Atmospheric Twilight, because of your review. But all of my Kawecos are B or BB. I'd love to try one in fine! I prefer the big nib, but would love to have either. Thanks for the review!
I've been curious about these pens and I'm glad to see your reviews of them. I prefer the 250. The larger nib just seems to be in better proportion to the pen body.
I never really notice how small the nib is on my Kaweco Sports when I use them but it would be fun to try the larger nib version to compare. Thank you for the review!
I really like the bigger nibs too. So I'd love to try the 250. And I need Kaweco to explain their naming convention for these pens. Doesn't make any sense to me.
Love the designs, wonder if they will release in other materials like steel or brass etc. The 250 version really appeals more to me, thanks for the opportunity.
It was interesting that Kaweco went with both the small and large nib sizes... I think I prefer the larger nib on the 250 as it seems to fit the proportions of the pen.
We'll timed review! Just saw these recently and I've been meaning to take a deeper look. I think the thickness of the 250 would appeal to me but after lots of thick pens, I've really been gravitating towards my Prera lately, so who knows.
Thanks for this first look at these two Kawecos! I love my Kaweco Sports and was not really interested in this release until I saw this video - the idea of having a full-size converter in a Kaweco is a happy thought, as well as the fact that these look so classy too. I must say that I would love to try the larger one as I love the look of that larger nib and I don't think that I would use the EF very much. Thanks again for sharing this comparison.
The 060 seems so great! I love having that close to paper nib that I use all the time on my Lilliput. It helps with control because I have a non-standard grip.
I was surprised that the Kaweco Sport was longer when it was posted! Very nice looking pens. I've not tried a larger nib, and would enjoy seeing how it writes for me.
Great review, Mike! I'm a big fan of the Kaweco Sport and at first glance I didn't think the Kaweco Original would be my jam, but the 250 actually looks pretty sweet.
Hi Mike! My FP journey began nearly a year ago, but I've yet to get a Kaweco. Thanks for thoroughly describing the features of this model. The 250 version really appeals to me. 😎
I like the 250 better, at least athletically, but I have a Perkeo and I enjoy using the nib on that. I think it is the same nib as the sport and I like those nibs in F and M. Thanks for the review!
I like the 250 better. It gets you a little further from the page which is nice. Plus, you can just get a sport that has the smaller nib with the added benefit of being able to throw it in your pocket.
Hey Mike. These are definitely interesting. I would prefer the 060 larger nib. I can't wait for some fun color releases 😍!!! Great job and thank you to Anderson Pens
Nice pen! Love the sports, they are great pens. I even have one of the sets with the piston fill sport fountain pen, it's a pretty tiny pen so this would be a great pen for when a regular sized pen is needed.
I have a collection of the Kaweco Sports, which I love. I've seen the "original" on a couple of pen sites. I really like the 060 model. I prefer slimmer pens. Thanks for doing the comparative video.
I think the F nib of the 250 would show off the various properties of inks better. I usually write with Japanese F nibs, but have seen how different some of my favourite inks look with wider nibs. Thanks for the great, thorough review and giveaway!
My preference would be the 250, mainly because the section is a bit thicker, which helps reduce my arthritis discomfort. I do like the overall ‘cute’ look of the 060.
I like the 250. In my ballpoint days I really liked thin pens but that pretty much went out the window when I began using fountain pens some years back. I really don't know why but the 250 would just seem more comfortable.
Hi Mike-I’ve been eager to see these Originals show up for some time now. I like the 250 nib on my Elite, but am more interested in the 060 model. Up next, Philadelphia!
I am such a noob but I am in love with fountain pens. I just asked someone what the best pens were for small hands. I believe the 060 would work well for me. Thanks for the video.
I'm a fan of Kaweco pens and any of them would be cool but since I don't have one with 250 nin, I'd go for that. Thanks for the review it is very cool and useful, since the clip alignment is first news to me.
I like the fact that it takes a lot of the design features of the kaweco sport but it lets you use a full sized converter. I much prefer the 250 as it looks more balanced with the overall proportions of the pen. Great review BTW, as always :)
The 060 looks nice and slim. Honestly these are the first new models I’ve seen in a while that pique my interest. As for the label I’d rather it line up with the clip when capped than with the nib when writing, so I think they made the right decision. Thanks for the video.
I like the 060 better, Thank you for this great comparison.
Well, I like the shorter grip section of the 250. Glad you pointed out about the o-rings because for some folks, it might really get on their nerves, but not me.
Thanks for showing these pens.

I really like the 060. It seems like it would write better in my hand. Ty for sharing!
Hey Mike I prefer the 250 because the larger nib appeals to me being bigger and also the extra weight.
I like these pens. Much prefer the 250 (which is the nib size nomenclature used by Bock). Hope they make it in colors!
Thanks Mike for your wonderful review and this opportunity. I would prefer the Kaweco Original 060 EF.
Thanks for this thorough review, Mike! My personal preference is the 250 model. Thanks.
I like a thicker pen so the 250 version looks best for me. Thanks for what you do.
I like nice metal pens. These look good. I'd prefer the bigger one, just to have a bit wider section.
Thanks for the video on the Originals, always informative. I have to go with the 250 as I am enjoying thicker pens lately. Larger nib is a plus also.
The 250 looks better to me. Great review, Mike.
Thank you Mike for all of the comparison details! I'm a fan of the bigger nib (always enjoy #6 over #5) and thought that the 060 model just looked a little diminutive! Cheers!
This larger size by Kaweco is a fun change up! Maybe the'll go with additional colors eventually?
A nice comparison review. I like the smaller 060.
The 250 model looks a little better proportioned in my opinion so that’s what I’d go with.
Interesting pen. The 060 is closer to what I like to use... but both are reminders of classic fountain pen designs. I love your channel.
Thank you for the detailed review! I love the look of the matt black with silver. I think I like the bigger nib of the 250 more aesthetically, just to give it an extra difference with the sport and the perkeo. But I think the 060 will give me a better writing experience, with my small hands and how I hold my pen.
I’m going to go with the 250 as I like a prominent nib size. Thanks for the review.
Definitely like that larger nib on the 250. Great review, appreciate the work!
Hi Mike the 250 is certainly the most interesting asI have wished for larger nibs on Kaweco pens for years. Eventhough I know that the Supra has a no 6 nib I dont have that.
Thanks for another interesting video! The 250 nib looks more proportional to me, so that would be my preference.
Thomas
I have been thinking about purchasing a Sport, but I think I prefer the 250.
They are both nice looking pens. The 250 looks right for me being just that bit thicker in the barrel.
Kaweco Fountain pens are great. Happy that you are offering a giveaway with 2 Kaweco Originals. I would prefer the 060 model with the EF nib. It turns out that originally I bought lots of pens with Medium or Broad nibs mainly to compliment the ink better. Oh my gosh, I was just looking at these FP's online and then your video came out! I like the 060 😄
I am really digging that 250. Super cool design.
I kind of like the weird length of the 250 nib :)
I like the size of the 060's nib and personally think it looks better. Thanks for the opportunity.
I like the Kawaco Original 060 for like you said the longer section on the pen.
I've been contacted by I'm not sure but I've been told I won the contest and I'd like to know if it's real or not?
Thank you.
I'm a bit of a Kaweco fanatic. I've got "a few" but not this one. My Supra has the chonky nib, and it is glorious. It's perpetually inked up with Atmospheric Twilight, because of your review. I've been curious about these pens and I'm glad to see your reviews of them. I prefer the 250. The larger nib just seems to be in better proportion to the pen body.
Both of these pens are uber cool! I’d be thrilled with either one. Thank you for the review-great info.
Just learned about fountain pens a couple months ago and i would love to give them a go, something about their sleek design i suppose.
My first pen was a Kaweco sport . I still use it every day. It would be great to have a version that doesn’t run out of ink so quickly.
The 250 would be my preference. Hope they do these in different colors!
I never really notice how small the nib is on my Kaweco Sports when I use them but it would be fun to try the larger nib version to compare. Thank you for the review!
I do like these a lot, never knew they existed? The 250 would be my preference, and would be my largest nib, both look great.
I like the 060. I don't think I have ever used a nib that small and would love to give it a try!
I just bought a Kaweco sport and just got in the fountain pen rabbit hole . 060 looks really good too
I really like the bigger nibs too. So I'd love to try the 250. And I need Kaweco to explain their naming convention for these pens. Doesn't make any sense to me.
Nice looking pens. I think the larger nib looks especially good.
I'd love to try the 250 - the large nib from Kaweco looks so very cool! I wonder if they will release them in other colors.
Love Kaweco's, the larger 250 definitely floats my boat. Nice video, thanks!
I like the 250 better. Would be a fun one to try.
We'll timed review! Just saw these recently and I've been meaning to take a deeper look. I think the thickness of the 250 would appeal to me but after lots of thick pens, I've really been gravitating towards my Prera lately, so who knows.

I think the small nib is so cute, but I would have to go with the larger 250 because it makes the pen look more balanced. Thanks for the review!
The 250 is the one that gives the best vibes!
I would prefer the larger model (Model 250), I think that will fit my hand better.
I like the longer 250 nib for the same reason you do. Thanks!
I'd love the 250--#6 size nibs are great! And matte black pens are RIGHT up my alley!
The 060 seems so great! I love having that close to paper nib that I use all the time on my Lilliput. It helps with control because I have a non-standard grip.
I Mike. I have really been wanting one of these. I prefer the 250, but would be happy with either
On a full size pen, I prefer the full size nib to go along with it. Also I imagine having a #6 or 250 nib has more options for interchangeability.
Thanks for the review. I think I’d prefer the 250.
I was surprised that the Kaweco Sport was longer when it was posted! Very nice looking pens. I've not tried a larger nib, and would enjoy seeing how it writes for me.
The Kaweco Sport is some sort of witchcraft: it’s tiny and it posts really deeply but still it ends up being full length when posted. 🧐🤔🤷🏻♂️
I like them both, but probably the 250 is the more unique. Thanks for the review and giveaway!
The 060 looks like it would be a great journaling pen. My Kaweco sport was a very pleasant surprise and I carry it everywhere.
I really like the 250, but both pens seem really nice.
Thanks for the detailed review. Very.diffficult to choose between the tWo. I.prefer the one has.rubberised coating.
Thank you for the review! I prefer the 250. I like larger pens although I do have a Kaweco sports.
The 250 is the one I prefer - it seems to be more manageable.
I do like these a lot. The 250 would be my preference but, both look great.
Really nice, I like the design, digging the 060.
Hey Mike. These are definitely interesting. I would prefer the 060 larger nib. I can't wait for some fun color releases 😍!!! Great job and thank you to Anderson Pens
Nice new products. Have to go with the 060.
These are nice-looking pens. I love my other Kaweco pens. The smaller one would fit better in my hands. Thanks for a great review.
Nice pen! Love the sports, they are great pens. I even have one of the sets with the piston fill sport fountain pen, it's a pretty tiny pen so this would be a great pen for when a regular sized pen is needed.
Kaweco has always struck me as really beautiful. It’s a nice look, and it looks timeless
I have a collection of the Kaweco Sports, which I love. I've seen the "original" on a couple of pen sites. I really like the 060 model. I prefer slimmer pens. Thanks for doing the comparative video.
Since I already have a couple Kaweco Sports, I would like to try the Original 250 to have a different nib 😊
I think the F nib of the 250 would show off the various properties of inks better. I usually write with Japanese F nibs, but have seen how different some of my favourite inks look with wider nibs. Thanks for the great, thorough review and giveaway!
Nice pens, I would prefer the 060 with the EF nib!
Mike, thanks for this side by side comparison. I much prefer the 250.
I am curious about the larger nib so I would choose the 250. It does look nice!
How exciting! Thank you! 🎉🎊🍾
I got a message saying I won but I’m worried it is a scam
My preference would be the 250, mainly because the section is a bit thicker, which helps reduce my arthritis discomfort. I do like the overall ‘cute’ look of the 060.
I like the 250. In my ballpoint days I really liked thin pens but that pretty much went out the window when I began using fountain pens some years back. I really don't know why but the 250 would just seem more comfortable.

Thanks for the review it is very cool and useful, since the clip alignment is first news to me.
Gotta love KAWECO! I'd like that 060 with an EF nib!
Nice! The Kaweco Original looks great. Really like the black matte finish too. The 250 version is my preference.
I like the fact that it takes a lot of the design features of the kaweco sport but it lets you use a full sized converter. I much prefer the 250 as it looks more balanced with the overall proportions of the pen. Great review BTW, as always :)
Very nice pens! I like the 060. Thanks for all of your videos👍
Lovely and detailed comparison. I would prefer the 250. Thanks for this opportunity ❤
I'm still a beginner in the fountain pen hobby and would really be interested in either one to try out and figure out what I like.
Hey Mike! Love the video. Kawecos are so much fun. The 250 looks interesting. I didn’t even realize there were different sizes.
I prefer the bigger model 250, looks good.
The 060 looks nice and slim. Honestly these are the first new models I’ve seen in a while that pique my interest. As for the label I’d rather it line up with the clip when capped than with the nib when writing, so I think they made the right decision. Thanks for the video.
Hi Mike. Thanks for the review. I like the 060 better. That nib is so cute. I have 3 sports and really like the brand.
These are both very attractive pens. I'm guessing the 250 would fit my hand better, but I would love to try either one of these pens.
