as someone (female) who suffers with this condition, I say thank you for the information. not a drinker or smoker.. had gallstones....not overweight... developed pancreatitis after gallbladder removal... I tend to think the years of gallbladder attacks (age 18-45) and inflammation and misdiagnosis from several doctors caused damage to my biliary tract. went to Duke Hospital for ERCP where they found high pressure and stricture and SOD. received stent and ACUTE pancreatitis. have suffered off and on with pain and dysfunction for 10 yrs now... am wondering if it is even worth going back to see my gastro doc... not much can be done it seems except to run expensive tests and tell a patient there is nothing that can be done. so I just don't eat much and drink a lot of water.. beats a hospital stay any day for the same outcome. again, thank you for the info even if I am not a Dr. I know something about this condition.

your case caused by medical procedure done to visualize your biliary tree , however I cant be sure , I can say likely . hope you are doing well now . but u can still find a good specialist and consult . as far as I can understand no need to be that careful ,your body must have got things healed long ago

The reason for hypocalcaemia is , the calcium binds with the fat that’s around the pancreas and these are deposited under the skin

Overall great job...1 correction: whites have a per capita higher rate of EtOH consumption and heavy EtOH consumption when compared to blacks.

Hypocalcaemia is because vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin, hence calcium absorption is impaired.
