😂 what depths will Canucks and Leafs fans sink to?😂 Have you NO shame?😂
I feel like a lot of people are underestimating what playing with Pasta can do. And Lindholm is good at faceoffs... I think it's a much safer bet than we think. And contracts under 8million are going to age very well, very fast.
Exactly
He finished 2nd in Selke one year, you cant just count the points.
He's a butthurt Canucks fan. He will only present information that benefits his case so he can cope with the fact that no one of value wants to play in Canada, let alone Vancouver
Literally rent free since 2011
Stop
Lindholm has lost it .The only guy who thinks is a big deal is Lindholm himself . The Bruins will regret this . Zadorov was an amazing sighing .
6 million a season for a third pairing defensemen? Are you tweaking?
@@jaymewillett1675it 5 for 6 years
i think the opposite
LoL you got that backwards I think the Lindholm deal is better than Zadorovs
@@dl3472
Petey 82gp/89pts
Miller 81gp/103pts
Lindholm 75gp/44pts
😅
Cant help but smile when I hear any canuck fun making fun of another team for overpaying a player. lol
Yah how about all the assets we lost to Calgary 😂
Those AAVs are not that thick considering we're looking at a $10+ mill salary cap increase over the next ~3 years
Lindholm is gonna be perfectly fine, he is playing w/ Pasta. If Zacha can go from a 25-30 pt/season to a consistent ~60 pts p season player, Lindholm will too
I like DeBrusk always have not signing Lindholm was not a big deal to be honest. Zadorov would have been nice as a Canuck but the guy from Edmonton with our coaches nice replacement and he gets probably the best d-men coaches in NHL I think. we are going to benefit big time I think
i wont say its worst just over paid 10-20% market value
love the copium here!! lol. The Bruins played chess by giving up nothing for him and waiting to snipe him on the July 1rst. This guy will thrive especially getting out of the hockey purgatory that is western Canada. He wanted to play in a big market on the east coast like every player does deep down. You had to find some football writer in Pittsburgh to somehow justify your cope, lol. We see through it.
Whats funny is Lindholm has never been "the guy". He played with super talented wingers and they both got over 100pts, while he got what 70pts? He wasn't even the guy in Carolina. He won't be much better with the bears.
You are so right. Paying a little extra for free agents is ok when you have lots of guys like Hoglander getting paid 1 mil. Vancouver doesnt have alot of that
That's a lot of sour grapes Lego. $7.75 is second line center money. Sam Reinhart $8.26, Leon Draisaitl $8.5, Roope Hintz $8.45 / Tyler Seguin 9.875, Thomas Hertl $6.75, J.T. Miller $8 ...
If this year's Stanley Finals showed anything it is the under valuing of defensively proficient centers. Barkov shut down an all-star cast of star players enroute to the final and scored at that same point-ish a game pace Lindholm did.
Lindholm was overrated, Vancouver overpaid to get him as a rental. Boston also over paid in both $ and term
I do like Lindholm but he is a solid #2 in my opinion
At 29 years old, with his average production, I would have offered like, a 6mill by 5 season deal at most
Boston also overpaid for Zodorov. Did I become a big Zodorov fan when he was with Vancouver definately. But you can't pay big bucks for only seeing half a season of his play. Boston paid for playoff Zodorov
Boston sniped your two best playoff performers, cope more
Playoffs is what matters...the regular season is just warmups
@@gregorsmith did Boston get Quinn Hughes also ? Daaaaaaaamn.
lol
@@tedcity5861 too small, Boston going big now but loved his little tantrum when Ulmark scored
Actually - Chris Tanev's is the worst based on how long it is and how he plays - though i guess the Leafs can LTIR him in a couple of years and save him for the playoffs.
Lindholm is really good. Yeah he had the worst 2 season in his career recently. Seeing all the talent leave calgary cant be good for your motivation. He will bounce back playing in Boston for sure
Ah, phooey. Lindholm will do well. His defensive contributions are being underestimated, and in the absence of Bergeron, he will be put to effective use. Did you forget how good he was in a shutdown role?
Lindholm hated playing for the Canucks he couldn’t stand playing there any amount of money he hated playing for Rick
I think Lindholm was supposed be a 2nd option if Pettersson didn’t sign for some reason
Yes either that or to press Pettersson into signing early. He said he wanted to wait until season was over
@@dl3472 agreed
@@quakzl petey said he was playing poker on his decision and what he wanted, he knew months in advance van was where he wanted and was nothing more then negotiation tactic.
vids on YT somewhere, think its a presser he answers questions at.
@@SleeCee I know Petey can play poker/ negotiate so can management Lindholm was there poker face
Pastrnak has been making players better since he stepped into the league, everyone and i mean everyone he my plays with see huge jumps in production. Cap is higher now then 2016 as well and will be going up so that will negate some of the negatives compared to those you mentioned.
Well, despite the cap going up, the bruins signed their next player to buy out. They will have slight buyers remorse by the end of this upcoming season but it will be full blown in 3 years.
Who are you talking about
I think lindholm in Boston going to be one of the best signings. You forgot to mention he is a face off specialist.
And that’s what the bruins were looking for
This Lindholm has been definitely way over rated like I wasn’t even excited when we got him before the deadline
Lou Erickson 2.0 lindholm
Lindholm's contract is an overpayment but is far from the worst contract in the class.
The fact that the only defense of Tanev's contract is "he will be on LTIR for the last 3 years" it should likely be one of these contracts.
Why is no one talking about how bad the stamkos contract is? It’s gonna age like expired milk in the Arizona desert
He will be okay in the first couple years and most likely look good in PO again. Long term success is harder to judge but considering the cap increases of that time it wont be too bad for picking up a free agent
The Canucks lost their big rental players to free agency, which is generally what happens with rentals. They then signed a bunch of Bruins free agents that should make them an even better time, while Boston grossly overpaid for those rentals. As much as I would have loved to see LIndholm and Zadorov return, the contracts they signed in Boston were why Benning was fired as Vancouver GM in the first place.
Its not that bad really, hes a second line player you could put him on first line becuase hes good in the circle and solid defensively after a few yrs he turns into a really good 3rd line center. I feel he'll do good on second line. As an oiler fan whos seen him in pmayoffs with calgary and van hes a servicible center can move up and down and play situationally. The other two contracts are worse. Must've been a slow news day.😊
Now do a video about the players vancouver signed. Debrusk is a high maintenance player who does nothing but cry when he doesnt get his way. Grzlecyk was a healthy scratch in the playoffs 3 years in a row and Forbort was useless and also a healthy scratch
Even as a Habs fan i got to Admit Lindholms contract is'nt bad at all. The guys a good player and can play #1 PP,PK and top line minutes. Playing with Pasta or Marchand i could easily seeing him putting up 70-80pts.
He’s the bumper guy now on the pp
Bruins got the guy they wanted and kept Fabian Lysell in the process who will be a much better DeBrusk.
The only thing that got worse was the canucks, actually.
Of course it’s the worst contract Vancouver sounds like the worst ex he’s going to a better situation Zacha turned his career around the Bruins gave Florida hell in the playoffs without the new additions
Patrice bergeron if he was in at lindholms age in this era on nhl would be making 10 mil a year so dont lie
Expensive for a 80 pts max player, imo. More of a 6.5 million a year tops kind of guy, not according to himself I guess.
yep glad he didnt sign with Vancouver. I am betting Desharnais has his best year yet under Gonchar, Foote and Tocchet. Forbort isa wildcard to me so we'll see. but Also hope maybe Lekkerimaki ir Raty shock us out of training camp and break onto the roster as well
Think boston is all in for the next couple seasons and they don't care if the contract doesn't age well
Can’t waste pasta’s prime
@@edited1325 exactly
Lindholm is one of the best face off forwards in the NHL
Why are we acting like Lindholm is a bad player? He’s a good defensive centre, and even in his off year last year he put up nearly 50 points.
Also, he’s gonna be playing centre for Pasta. And no offence to anyone on the Canucks or flames, but Pasta is one of the best players in the league, probably the best player Lindholm has played beside, and he elevates anyone he plays with.
Lindholm 70 pts lock 🔐 in boston
The author of the 3 worst free agents signings hit all three out of the park. In regard to Lindhom, he’s been in decline for two years… do you really think he’s going to get better? C’mon
Better than Zacha or coyle and the FO% is a huge factor here
Lindholm and zadorov had good playoff runs. Of course Boston signed them.😮
Canucks fans tryna cope lmao
Mean while lindholm at home thinking hes up there with chucky worth the $$
Surprised with Boston, 7x7.75m for Lindholm and then 6x5m for Z. Both bigger Pay Days for these guys considering they have yet to put a Boston Jersey on ?
Vancouver paid dearly upfront for these guys, just to become Rentals ?
Wtf are you smoking? Lindholm signed for 7 years @ 7.75M and zadorov signed for 6 years @ 5M.
@@Sparta1984Have edited corrections, Thanks.
LOL , mis read Terms on puck pedia team page, I should have looked at the individual Breakdowns. That's insane !
@@Coldone24 Yeah. The term on lindholm is bad. The term on zad is also bad, but lindholm is worse.
Lol, these are just sounding like an angry Canucks fans vent. Mark my words, Lindholm will have more of a positive result in boston then Debrusk, Heinen and Forbort will in Vancouver
Idk about the last part but Lindholm will definitely be better in Boston. and I say that as a Canucks fan
Must be 4:20 in your house eh. Or is it Crack that makes people say stupid things?
Yesh thats what I think too. I hope im wrong tho
lol Lindholm is not a first line centre.
thx for eliminating the Leafs and all, but ha ha @ you.
Forbort is washed up but the other two are good
If you’re looking for a 9 to 15 goal scorer, he’s your guy.
He isn't even worth the 7x7 the Canucks offered him. The Bruins will be buying him out in 3 years
I think stammer is the worst one
Boston will be trying to trade lindholm by year 4 of his deal. Theyll need to retain close to 50 percent probably also. He ll produce points just because of pastrnak but when hes 34 years old he ll slow down.
Yeah I think that Penguins reporter was digging around for some way to pay for his Hot pockets also... Lindholm has not been playing with top six.
Never played with 🍝
And he's never played in boston.
That's Vancouver for God's sake
🙄
Everybody needs to find a way to earn their Hot pockets...
This is also why I won't subscribe because it just goes too far and clogs up my subscriptions with this type of stuff
You keep talking about it because you are a butthurt Canucks fan. It's blatantly obvious at this point. If you weren't, you would have made 1 video laughed and walked it off.
Lindholm is a defensive forward pretty okay at Center but his contract stinks he ain't worth 7m he will give you 70pts thats if he plays with good forwards but he absolutely 💯 not a #1 C
Clueless take he isn’t there to put up 100 points
Si doesn’t know anything about hockey 😂😂
Friken turncoat Linnholm is he,s a deceptive player same with Zadorov as well . I,m drunk but I know what I,m talking about 😮
bro was NOT drunk
elias stinkholm
bro ur so biased its not even funny atp
Let's not worry about the bruins about their mistakes and focus on the Canucks and how they can improve their team.
