Great story! This story highlights that when you feel something isn't right, pay attention. Don't ignore that small voice of warning on the inside. If we listen, it will save us from some of the heartache we experience. Don't ignore the way the family treats you. You are setting yourself up for a miserable life. Thank God he showed his truest ugly nature that night. It would have only gotten worse from that point. Tanisha did the right thing and left that disaster alone.
I'm okay with the story line. She walked away from whst would have been a definite abusive, controlling relationship. Punishment enough for a weak husband who refused to stand up to his mother and a controlling mother who refuses to back down.
HE WAS USING HER FOR HIS ON HORRIBLE ACTIONS. MAYBE FOR REVENGE OR A EVIL PLAN. THIS WAS THE WRITER SITUATION WITH THE BLACK BEAUTIFUL QUEEN. YOU JUST WANTED TO GET BLACK PEOPLES UPSET ESPECIALLY AND OTHER DECENT HUMAN RACES ALSO.
The groom should have been arrested for assaulting his bride. It seems as if it is the norm for men to hit women in their culture. This mother clearly is very rude and disrespectful to black people. The bride did the right thing by walking away from that toxic relationship.
Good for Tanisha. Needed to do what she did. Good riddens to Jaden and his mother. She deserves so much more and I do believe her future will be bright and she will be much loved and respected by the man she will eventually meet. . That's my prayers for her. Ps I hope when she does get married her mother in-law will have alot of love for and respect.
Tanisha you did the right thing by leaving him you are a brave woman for what that man put you through you are stronger than you know you got your family and friends to lean on
He was exploiting her for his cruel intentions-whether for revenge or as part of a sinister plot. This was the writer's situation with the beautiful Black queen. His goal seemed clear: to provoke anger among Black people, and also upset all decent humans. 😡
She did the right thing by leaving the wife beater. Hitting someone on her wedding day in front of the guests is the highest disrespect to the core. Tanisha dear, I give you Kudos,my love ❤️🌹 and prayers. It is men that marry not boys, therefore this Mama’s Boy does not deserve you. I glad God exposed him early enough to save your life otherwise the worst would have happened. Be strong, if one road never closes better new one will never open.
Failed to address any consequences for the assault which is a crime. The story is incomplete at this point. The reader is left with a man can slap a woman in front of a whole host of people and get away with it and if you had add the race element then it’s tells an even broader story. Complete the narrative- add depth and dimension!
What a stupid ending for a story. No meets no with the idiot groom? You shouldn’t have bothered, also it as so slow, just talking about nothing, because we knew what was coming next, before he said another word. 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
What is Tanisha's car doing there???? Where was her Momma' & them when she got slapped??? Or, ANY man at the wedding??? And why does this announcer sound like Chester from "Gunsmoke????" Then at the end, the voice speeds up. This is ridiculous & fabricated.
Looking at the 1st comment makes me cautious, ie essential parts are missing and may not be addressed ie redress after being publically humiliated and hated... I choose to keep my peace of mind, so won't be watching it! Jumping the broom: (while typing the above) I've just heard that it's being cut... is that in favour of a slap? That question might be me just being mischievious
It doesn't make sense...this tale. Why the humiliation. Why was Jaden on the phone constantly. What was the plot. What are the consequences for unwarranted and uncouth action of the groom. SMH

Exactly what I was thinking. This story was very unsatisfying. What about the groom and the consequences? What about the story going viral and him seeming to be a public figure? Tanisha handled everything well but the groom??? Did he go riding into the sunset, or what? Did his PR team go into crisis mode?
Good girl! You immediately walked away from that message. Too bad you did not see it coming before hand. He disrespected you from the beginning but you were blind to love. His mother was the beginning of trouble and she would have ruined your marriage anyway. In the future always check out the mother-in-law. They are always bad news especially if you are in an interracial relationship. Never trust them. The father-in-laws are usually good souls but those women...yuck!!! Girl move on in your life and at least you discovered who and what he was at the wedding. At least you did not have to live with him after all. Good luck sweetie....You did the right thing.

Oh my God, awful

She deserves someone better. Not a jerk like Jaden.
Aside from leaving him, she should have had him arrested for assault.
Agree 100%. I am sure she will, supported by Jada and Mike, and the whole kind and nice friends of her.
She did the right thing. I would have given that ring to his mother and told her you two deserve one another

Tanisha should arrest him rude

I feel that she should anole the wedding as she can do this if it was in front of the ministers

I would do the same thing. Leave him right away. Go marry your mother mama,'s boy. 😢😮

He was so disgusting behaviour towards his beautiful wife
This was a story that lacked any justice.and real substance. A waste.
She got slapped invof everyone and none of her relatives made a stand ? That would never happen and certainly not let her go the house alone
Yeah I find it hard to believe her family or friends would have done nothing after that assault. Big gaps in that story
