I appreciate many of your videos, but this one is totally off track. You have not understood what people learn when they study a particular subject. For example, studying history is very analytical. They have to analyse sources, understand biases in the narrative. This particular skill helps them to move into journalism or many other fields where analytical writing and thinking is necessary apart from academics. It is not about memorising facts . So unless you know how a subject is studied at a university level, you will not know how one can apply / translate the skills learnt. This sort of thinking is pushing Indian students behind who thinks only studying science and technology will get them high paying jobs. There will be no original thinkers or entrepreneurs, just copy cats.
Instead your video should have focussed on how to earn skills by taking interdisciplinary subjects. Say , history and economics or medicine and archeology (the latest research published on humankind is by a doctor in Germany who also has interest in archer)How studying one subject helps going deeper in another and open new avenues of careers. India has to open up the academic world for such interdisciplinary thinking. West has already done it. In the age to f chatgpt and AI , liberal arts and any creative field will be in the forefront for building careers because AI can’t produce any original thinking.
